I've seen this for sale on @rubadubspawn 's page for $340, and I'm really tempted. I might even sell Grinder.
Especially if the combiner ports and the joints have been tightened. Watching Skullface's video review is so painful, with the thing falling all over itself.

 

Is this release is actually stable in combined mode compared to the original?

 

Anyone know which sellers are/were selling the reissued sets for $250? Thanks

I was actually considering picking up a set for myself as well. If I can convince myself that I need 4 or 5 different Devastators, why wouldn't I need at least one MP Dinobot Combiner? lol...

Unfortunately I think the last couple sets are now spoken for. Lots of other new stuff has been added over the last couple days, and I'm hoping to be able to get a bead on some additional units - but for now sold out.

Does anybody have much experience with this set? I never really considered it a viable option before since I was playing for Team Fanstoys - however at a price of $68 each shipped - that's a much more wallet-friendly price point, and I'd be willing to take a chance...

They’re far from MP tho. Just scroll back the last few pages for the recent comparison. So you’d still have to pick up the FT dinos either way.  

 

Wow thats a improvement over the TW version, I can tell already from that single leg pose. I really like the metallic paint job and that crown looks awesome.

P.S. I hope you getting a replacement part for that missing jaw and missing horn for slag.

 

Yup, this toyshome seller (the ones who commissioned this repaint I think?) was quick to respond and the missing parts should arrive in a week or two.

This is one of those sets that always comes back to me as something I want, but I know deep down it’s not worth getting.

I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before another even better Dino combiner arrives.

Usually deep discounts are given to items that were over-produced (or over-bought by retailers), and they need to clear out extras. So, it depends on how many they made. We have no idea.

 

Anyone combine this yet? I just started transforming from bot mode to dinos. The paint is layed on pretty good, some parts when I move or turn them I have a fear of messing up any paint lol. The instructions are kind of hard to follow, or I just suck at reading how to form them haha

 

Yeah mine is combined. Feet were a pain cause I didn't realize they slid on differently. I weirdly don't care about paint scratching on them. I just reason it as the Dinobots would be pretty damaged but I'm weird about that

 

Bought for $315 on today's eBay Flash Sale.
