They should've re-released this set with a RED head for Slag/Iron Dreg

 

I'm just glad this combiner finally has a goddamned name.

even if it sounds a little lame. XD Since there's nothing gorilla or King Kong about him.

 

Can I please ask how these guys scale with mp-10? are they at least a little taller than TW Constructicons? (individually)

and then how tall is combined form to Constructor?

Weird question but can you tell if they just painted over the chrome material or if it's regular plastic?

 

Not my pic, no idea whose it is. Couldn't find any that directly compared them to individual constructor bots.

 

Honestly, it sounds like someone made a typo of Dinoking and decided to ran with it.

 

Just got notified that they arrived at the Chosen Prime. So excited

Some issues encountered putting the arms together.

Slag’s combiner elbow could not be pulled out fully. From the paint scuffing, it’s prolly too thick or something. Swoop’s combiner elbow took elbow (pun unintended) grease to pull out fully. My hands hurt!

Slag’s grey portion holding his tail section is in the way of sliding the fist in (previously was peg so there was no need for extra room to slide). Forced it in and dread taking it out later.

Also, Slag seems to be a Biceratops instead.  

 

Could you guys do me a favour and check if Slag’s nose horn is present in your set?

Something else to check, was just trying out the crown on the combiner head and he’s missing his lower jaw.

Not thrilled with this set. What was I expecting different from the TW set?

How does this version stack up to the original TW release? Any fragile parts or areas of concern?

Had the original and sold it. What a mess it was. Thinking about getting this one, but if no real improvements were made I’ll pass.

 

Maybe Toy Wold kept the QC and naming departments?

Seriously though, are most of you getting problem free sets. I may pick this up later this month if they are mostly trouble free. However, initial feedback doesn’t make me feel as confident as I was before.
