It WAS up as of yesterday and I think a day or two before, and the list price was 190

 

HAHAHAHAHA! I'd really like to get that trailer, but $190 is ludicrous.

 

There is going to be new info on the armor, and it's not 190, just keep your eyes posted on the convention website before jumping to any conclusions.

im not surprised if it really is that price or at least somewhere in that ballpark seeing as how its a limited convention exclusive

the price to produce stuff like that [especially in small exclusive numbers] means higher "retail" price for us. So they can cover the cost to make it

Who makes this set?

 

Hi this is Jake. I'm the editor of the comic for Slagacon. The 'Vector Zeta' armor (named to avoid copyright issues) is an extremely limited run and we're still in the planning/production phase of this. Please bear with us as this is our first time doing something this big and we want to get it right.

The maker chooses at this time to remain anonymous until we get closer to the convention date.

Also the pricing isn't set in stone but the $190 number is incorrect. We don't have a set price yet but we're planning on including a nicely designed box and 22 page comic with the set.

Once we get more details we will post them at Slagacon.

 

Thanks for the information, Jake.   Also, about $190 being incorrect, are we looking at it being higher or lower than that?

 

Hey Jake, if this is successful would you and your group consider to release more of this ? I can't make it to any convention and even tho' you say it won't be $190, I really don't want to fork over $500 to scalpers. Definitely will pick it up if it goes for some online retail.

 

We're still working on this. We're trying to figure out how to do more production. If we are able to make them available past the convention it would be a fairly small run similar to the convention numbers, but making them available afterwards is our goal.

 

Is the mold itself exclusive to the con, or just the mold in the color scheme shown?
