Hello guys. I've been working on this project little by little using Ramsessiden's upgrade kit. It's an awesome kit that he put together and really works well. It's still a WIP, having to mix some colors, repainting some parts here and there, sealing the 3D prints with spot putty. I'm still waiting for a few paint to arrive. Blast Off will be painted a darker shade of brown for the most part except for his thrusters, and the brown area around Bruticus chest and the little pieces will also be a different shade of brown. I'm contemplating whether to repaint Swindle to a mustard yellow to try and match the G1 deco. His purple parts are also going to repainted to a lighter purple. Paint should be arriving this week, so I hoping to complete within the next 2 weeks. Here's what I have so far.
I painted the back part of his chest piece to test the color before painting the front part. I think the paint is a bit to glossy and considering using a dullcote on it. Blast Off was painted a bit darker that I had him. Almost done!
