Nice finds man, those are like some of the hardest TF's to get.
Not sure what they're worth is but I prob woul've paid the same thing.
The cassettes rule and it's nearly impossible finding the Japan ones anymore.

Only person that I can think has em all here is Dragonclaw. He's even got all the rare Japan headmasters I believe.

Nice dude, if I had extra money I definitely would pay that much for those in a heartbeat. I'd love to have the four Japanese cassettes.

Looong time ago now (I mean like, when the entire online fandom consisted pretty much of a.t.t.), I saw a Gurafi at a local toy show. I was like,"What the fuck is that? It's fucking awesome!" The dude explained it was a Japanese only item back in the day, etc., etc. I asked how much; he said ~$100; I balked.

What I wouldn't give to go back in time and kick my own ass for not buying it...and then buy it.

That wasn't inherently a lot of money even then, as I was still living at home. It just seemed like a relatively ridiculous amount at the time, when I was buying complete '84-85 cars for $20 and seekers for $30.

I took a stab at that before work last night. Bid around $150, didn't think I'd win. :p  Definitely a good deal for what it went out at though. Closet thing I have to those are two of the Headmasters. Someday though... (in like 10 years maybe...)

I have all six (counting the boxed overkill&slugfest), and recently sold my duplicate Noise and Graph with one weapon each for $260. $208 is fair.

It's funny, they ARE uber-rare, but seem to be more common lately. Mostly because of the $$$ they go for, it brings them out of the woodwork...it wont be long until offerings are few and far between again as they again find their way into long-term collectors sets :)

I don't think they're that insanely rare, just insanely priced. But when was the last time you saw a beast wars eggbot? :)

I dunno, I had been hunting them for a long time and saw them very rarely, then over the last couple years they seem to be a lot more readily available. I still expect them to fade back into the woodwork. I haven't looked for the eggbots since they came out (Mine are in a box somewhere...)

How can they be worth that much when a big chunk is missing out of one? Good luck finding that little bit. I'm not ragging on ya, but if I ever try to buy these, they better be complete.

I want them bad as well.

A junker lying around. Yeah right. :lol

Don't worry about that too much though, as it can easily be snapped on if you have a junker lying around.

I didn't notice the missing tail. I guess $208 is on the steep side then. But on the other hand, they are so rare that a decent estimate value of incomplete ones is very subjective.
