Youtube Problem.

    I used WMM to make a video, and for some reason everytime I upload it it fails to convert the file, what am I doing wrong?

    Open the file in WMM, hit "File", select "Save movie," not "Save project." This should save it as a Windows Media file, not a Moviemaker Project, which Youtube can't upload.

    Does Youtube works with .WMV files? I encode my videos with the Xvid codec.

    I uploaded a WMM video to Youtube, but the quality was pretty poor. :(  You might be better off with AVI.

    If you can, try and set the resolution to be at least 640x480- that kind of helps ensure you get the HQ option.

    oh, get real. it's almost obligatory to make a bad joke about the 'tube...

    go with avi files. i have had better luck/quality with that myself
