I was looking over the TF3 Confirmed character list that is Stickied in this section of the forums and saw that Frances McDormand is listed as the NSA Director. I find this interesting.

The Director of the NSA is always a commissioned officer of the military services. During the Directors incumbency, (s)he is appointed to the grade of four-star general/admiral. Whereas, the Deputy Director is always a technically-experienced civilian.

Currently, there is only ONE female four-star general, GEN Ann E. Dunwoody of the U.S. Army Materiel Command. AND she was the FIRST female to be appointed to Four-star.
Personally, I'm happy to hear they are making the Director a female (and the implications of it) but I wonder how many agree with their choice of Frances McDormand playing the Director.

In addition, do ya'll think she can pull off acting like, not only the Director, but also a Four-star General?

Yes, I think she'll be good. She's a fantastic actress, TF3 is lucky to have her.
