Special shout out to the Trailbreaker (hate Trailcutter as a name) one shot, then. Good 'un.

The Delphi two-parter's a very close second but it's gotta be MTMTE #11. I loved the whole Shadowplay arc, but the final page reveal is perhaps one of my favourite Transformers moments of all time, god, that was brilliant.

MTMTE #55 for me. Love the poignancy and ambiguity of Ravage's final line, "Don't change back."

MTMTE last issue. The Returns, the deaths, the feels. Too damn good.

Overlord was not to be played with. The Lost Light crew were like Toddlers to him. Wish we had more Cons like him.

It was. I almost wish he killed everyone and hijacked the ship so that he could track down any refugees and have his own crew.

It's gotta be issue 6. Fantastic character work, some seriously punchy dialogue (especially from Whirl), and one of the most jawdropping cliffhangers in the history of Transformers.

Either Cybertronian Homesick Blues, the A-story from issue 13 or The One Where They Go to Earth (issue 43) (which probably won't earn me any agreements). Both somewhat silly and "fun" issues punctuated by some deep emotional moments.

Well, have to say the very latest one - LL24 - is right up there! But I'm going to agree about The Gloaming - the sadness of Chromedome, the opening up of Brainstorm's personality, Rung staring down Rodimus, and that astonishing montage at the end. I have to say out of all of it, it's that scene with Brainstorm and Chromedome that is particularly wonderful. And then when we found out what happened to Quark it added such an extra layer of poignancy to it - the guy who has had so many loves, and made himself forget them all, being counselled by the guy who lost his only, unrequited one and will change all of history to try and bring him back.

I do wish that Milne had done the art for it though. I know it's just a question of taste, but I really didn't like the style on that one.

Yeah, I love the lighthearted issues.
