Hoping that 2020 brings those last pieces in the final 2% of my quest: Canadian G1 Cassette Cardbacks for Rewind/Steeljaw, Grandslam/Raindance & Beastbox/Squawktalk, G1 Canadian Hook Cardback, a Milton Bradley Europe G1 tech & instruction manual for Blaster, G1 Canadian Blaster instruction Manual, a Ceji/Joustra Made in France G1 Soundwave, a surprise studio series issue of the 2nd half of the W Cassettes as a Bumblebee Retro / SDCC exclusive set good / evil pairing similar to V1 & 2 & the 2nd half of the Hasbro Pulse issue of the G1 W Cassettes in the hideous merged combo card.

Hoping in addition to the G1 Reissue of Blaster they manage to do more cassettes with him since 2 sets would work to balance with Soundwave (Hint Hint Hasbro!).

Add to that the completion of the displays for my hordes of cassettes, soundwaves, blasters & devastators & the clean up of the associated packaging.

One submission for 2 Diaclone Ceji France MOC of Condor & Jaguar with the card tabs still present to CGA.

Then done.

Just keep patching holes. Have my eyes on a few coming Earthrise figures but I’m hoping to not get quite as I to this as Seige. Probably more add-on sets and accessorizing than everything.

G1 Shockwave, Reflector, Bumblejumper, Octane & a MIB pre rub Soundwave. Walmart Astrotrain & Blaster. (Cassettes if released). Japan Raiden & Diaclone Bluestreak.

 

I currently have Deadend hanging out with Dirge, Darkwing and Dreadwind from POTP. Deadend look ok(wish), but I was really disappointed with how Darkwind and Dreadwind turned out. I hope they get an upgrade, but I don't really know if they are gonna get one in Earthrise. Perhaps the series after that I hope. Still love those morose cons.

Continue filling in all the pieces I missed when the $$ was tight. So more of the same just crossing off my needed list of MP characters from Seasons 1 & 2 of the G1 series. I probably will double back and keep spending way too much time on comparison videos to help decided on which figures fill the slots of many of the bots that have multiple options.

 

Every Earthrise, Generations Selects, and con exclusives that Hasbro puts out.

I was thinking about this, and found that will buy only 3 Transformers this year: Studio Series Shockwave, Siege Astrotrain and G1 Astrotrain Reissue.

This year, I will be more focused in my DC collection and my decision was in line with the announce of McFarlane of releasing his appealing new 7 in line!

I think downsizing and minimizing purchases are gonna be the big things for me this year. I sold off a good chunk of my collection last month, but I think there's still a decent bit I'd like to get rid of. It's honestly been kind of therapeutic, to clear out the "clutter" and just appreciate what's already there without waiting for the next brand new toy. Plus, space and finance are important factors in all this, particularly this year coming

Studio Series is and has been my focus for the last two years, and I think that'll continue to be the case. It's definitely the line that's captured my attention the most. I'm hoping to have the wave eight stuff by the end of the month, but with those figures (especially Bumblebee and Megatron to complete the 07 cast), I honestly think I might take a step back on this one too. Maybe just pick up the figures I'm really interested in, rather than going nearly full completionist like I have done so far. Like, realistically, I don't need a Megatron figure for every film

The only Studio Series figure I can see myself really wanting from wave nine onwards, that we've seen so far, is Bumblejeep. Wouldn't mind Sentinel too, depending on how he turns out. But I think I'm gonna be giving this line a few more passes from now on
