The air-force of the Decepticon's on-planet in-atmosphere forces. All have a similar body type or uniformity but still have enough differences from each other to not all have the exact same body.

First, in general, the flight frames were upper class figures on Cybertron because you'd need to be upper class to afford to fly. I have a post on this in the headcanon thread already.

Copy pasted classic Seekers I posted before:

Starscream - Based on Armada version slightly. A young ambitious upstart to the Decepticons, in his eyes he sacrificed everything to become the Decepticon Air commander just so Megatron can berate him. He starts the series trying to gain Megatron's respect but as he fails to defeat the Autobots and Megatron loses his patience, the cost of everything he's sacrificed for this starts to weigh down on him and he begins plotting Megatron's downfall.

Skywarp - Once a simpleton with a love love of bad puns and pranks, he was convinced by Starscream to undergo an experimental procedure to implant a miniaturized transwarp drive into his chassis so he'd be able to teleport at will behind enemy lines. It worked, but at the cost of a little more of his sanity with every use. Now, he retains his love of bad puns and pranks, but they lean into Joker territory and he needs constant supervision to know how to use his power to actually help the decepticons and when not to use them so as not to draw the wrath of them. Afraid of Megatron and Soundwave, but loves his best buds Thundercracker and Starscream.

Thundercracker - On the other hand, Thundercracker hates Starscream. He's Skywarp's minder, and resents what Starscream's ambition did to their former friend. Otherwise, he follows orders though he usually does it with a sigh or snarky muttered comment. While Thundercracker believes in the decepticon cause and hates the autobots for their part in Cybertron's destruction, he's grown weary and finds it hard to actually summon the energy to fight. His specialty is electronic warfare as a pun on his name Thundercracker.

    The Coneheads:

Thrust is based on his Armada version but fights with shockwaves like the Shocker's from Spiderman. Kind of like the Admiral Zhao to Starscream's Zuko.

Ramjet is just Thrust's dumb muscle but he's Lugnut sized and his cockpit forms a horn on his head in robot mode.

Dirge uses a despair based version of Hate Plague and his cockpit forms a beak like a plague doctor's mask.

Prior to the war, Starscream and the bots who would become the Seekers belonged to a group of Vossian sky pirates known as the Skyraiders. At the time, Vos' military strength was weakening, and so, they commissioned the aid of pirates and mercenaries to maintain their territory. When the war broke out, Starscream conspired with Megatron to seize control of Vos for the Decepticons. In doing so, Starscream usurped control of the Skyraiders from the previous captain and reorganized them into a new fighting force. Thus, the Skyraiders of Vos became the Decepticon Seekers.

Each has a different body type, but all have the same vague silhouette.
-Starscream is akin to his prime counterpart, with a g1 design and voiced by Charlie Adler. Hes quite pathetic on the battlefield, so he resorts to a hit and run approach... which is probably the only reason hes alive. His disdain for megatron has more basis due to his constant failures, and decepticons will often stick up for him when he has a point or better approach. Which is regularly ignored. His scientific background is more emphasized and hes seen in the lab often, which is where he invented the null ray.

-Thundercracker is the decepticon medic (like his wfc counterpart), and has empathy and compassion for anyone injured on the battlefield. He was a scientist along with Starscream and Skyfire. He joined the decepticons originally because of their politics, and loyalty to his brothers. But, as Megatron steers farther and farther from his once righteous past, Thundercracker finds the autobot cause more and more appealing.

-Skywarp is a flat out bully. He takes pleasure from hurting those beneath him and is equipped with teleportation abilities. When push comes to shove, skywarp will chose himself over all others and finds organic matter disgusting.

-The rainmakers are clones based off the original 3 seekers, each given a unique ability that makes them some of the deadliest decepticons in megatrons army. They take a lot of energon to fuel, however, so they are kept in stasis lock until needed.

-Ramjet has the endurance of grimlock and the intelligence of sludge. His divebombs cause utter destruction on any structure unfortunate enough to be in his sights. His near impenetrable armor makes him a match for any autobot, however his incompetence usually leads to failure at his own hands.

-Thrust is a cocky strategist, who will often gloat about himself to others and resents starscream for hogging all the spotlight when his plans are what usually wins the day. After an intense battle, Thrust is left fatally wounded and abandoned to drift off into the abyss. Hes saved by the Planet eater unicron, and reformatted to serve as his herald. He scouts planets and calculates their value until finding the perfect one for unicron to feast, and has Earth in his sights to inact the ultimate revenge.

-Dirge is the decepticons routine bullet sponge, he rarely comes home without something for thundercracker to fix. This has lead to the two forming a sort of friendship. His constant abuse has lead Dirge to loathe combat, and feel an existential dread and resentment to the world for his never ending suffering. He would like nothing more than to die, but it seems even when hes oh so close to joining the allspark. Hes dragged out of the rubble for repairs.

    Core Seekers, Megatron's elite:

Starscream: There aren't enough epithets in any spoken language to accurately describe Starscream. An egomaniacal, self-serving, narcissistic scientist, Starscream was once among Cybertron's elites thanks to his connections in the Senate and his groundbreaking research with his partner Jetfire. Primarily focused in weapons development, it was he who first designed what has since become the trademark weapon of the Seekers, the arm-mounted Null Ray. When the Decepticon revolution came into full swing, as a way to prevent being executed like so many of his ilk, Starscream joined up with Megatron and company to throw his full support behind the movement, giving them some semblance of legitimacy, but also turning his long-time partner Jetfire away. As time went on and the Decepticon movement matured, Starscream believed that he would easily be able to depose Megatron and turn the movement into his own private army to protect himself and his interests. After all, how could so many people feel beholden to a Gladiator of all things? They clearly didn't have their heads screwed on straight, and needed a member of the elite to remind them what's what in Cybertronian culture.

Thundercracker: Thundercracker, like many of the Decepticons, joined up with the movement for its promise of a better tomorrow for the oppressed classes, and wanted more freedom for himself and people like him. Over the eons, though, he's since become weary and disillusioned with the movement, believing it to be nothing more than an excuse to trade one tyrannical regime for another, except this time with Megatron at the head. He has earned a reputation as a very skilled warrior, placing him in the Seekers and keeping him alongside other not so like-minded individuals, which depresses him even more. In events where the Decepticons succeed in taking over Earth, Thundercracker defects to the Autobots and moves to the Appalachian Mountains, coming to inadvertently adopt a heavy local accent, trading his Null Rays in for a shotgun, and acquiring an adorable little cyberpup named Buster. He patrols the area for Decepticon activity on behalf of the Autobots.

Skywarp: An Outlier, Skywarp has the special ability of short-range teleportation. While this would be an extremely helpful boon in battle, Skywarp mostly uses it for practical jokes and torment rather than dispatching his enemies, much to the chagrin of everyone around him. While not the smartest 'bot around, Skywarp has proven that he is a capable warrior even without utilizing his teleportation abilities to their fullest extent, as well as a devoted member of the Decepticons, earning him a spot in Megatron's elite.

    Coneheads, the muscle:

Thrust: It's by pure chance that Thrust was placed into leadership of the Coneheads, and given his skills, it shows. Large and fairly dim, Thrust gives the Decepticons full reason to think of the Coneheads as little more than violent thugs who enjoy a good tussle. While he prefers to fight with his hands, he is skilled in the use of his null rays, and also enjoys utilizing the VTOLS in his wings to mince the limbs of the nearest Autobot.

Ramjet: Much like Thrust, Ramjet is a large and stupid 'bot, and he likes to get his hands dirty on the battlefield. This is where he truly earns his name, as his primary method of attack is running at the enemy in an attempt to skewer them with the cone on his head. This obviously leads to him taking far more damage than either of his compatriots, earning the ire of the Decepticon's medics. He also wields large "Null Bazookas", a far heavier variant of the standard Null Ray that amplifies the power of the shot, making him just as deadly from afar as he is up close.

Dirge: You'd be hard-pressed to find a 'bot as morose as Dirge. From how he tells it, it's a combination of feeling as though the Transformers are a people without a world due to being stuck on Earth, and that the war itself will only ever end once everyone has died and the last 'bot standing can claim a hollow victory. He uses this as a weapon on the battlefield, thanks to his weapons being modified to inflict mental damage rather than physical, instilling a sense of fear, paranoia, and dread in whoever it hits. Indeed, it was a glancing shot from one of Dirge's weapons that gave Red Alert the complex he has become known for.

    Rainmakers, the experiments:

Acid Storm: An experiment gone horribly right by Shockwave, Acid Storm was gifted with the ability to spontaneously induce acid rain clouds, which has since become his defining feature. With a mildly "melted" appearance, small smears on his wings and chest, Acid Storm has come to define his fighting style with acidic substances. His null rays were modified to shoot concentrated blasts of acid at his opponents, and he often carpet bombs areas with acidic charges, to reduce buildings and opponents to melted piles of sludge. While the experiments have left him with a less than firm grasp on reality (although far better than some of Shockwave's experiments), he is a force to be reckoned with.

Nova Storm: Like Acid Storm, Nova Storm was "blessed" with the ability of creating spontaneous storms by Shockwave. Where Acid Storm employs acidic substances, Nova Storm makes use of searing plasma that he claims is as hot as the sun. These storms quickly tear through opponents, burning holes through their armor plating and leaving them vulnerable, if not outright incapacitating them. While he has not adopted his abilities quite to the degree Acid Storm has, they make him a formidable opponent and one that should be taken down quickly.

Ion Storm: Like his comrades, Ion Storm is gifted with the ability of creating spontaneous electrical storms by Shockwave, disrupting circuitry and communications, and sometimes even his opponents. Ion Storm is arguably the Rainmaker with the most potential, and is often utilized to disrupt enemy communications to allow for others to move in for the kill.

    The Welcoming Party, the leftovers:

Bitstream: An information specialist by trade, Bitlink is often put towards gathering information on Autobot resistance holdings on Cybertron on Shockwave's behalf. With a fascination for Earth culture, Bitlink resents being unable to travel to Earth with the other Decepticons, although he's sure that there will be plenty of time for sightseeing once the Autobots are crushed and Earth is firmly under their control.

Hotlink: Hotlink is responsible for much of the weapon development on Cybertron. An avid tinkerer, he and Shockwave often work closely together to create new devices to weed out Autobot resistance on the planet, with many of said devices going right into the hands of him and his comrades when they're sent out on scouting missions.

Slipstream: Slipstream is the main reason why the Welcoming Party is anywhere near as deadly as it is. While her fellow warriors all have their quirks, Slipstream defines herself by her incredible skills in battle, and often is praised by high-up commanders, even Megatron. Her ultimate ambition is to succeed Starscream as leader of the Seekers, and it astounds her how Starscream is still suffered to stand at Megatron's side with his constant scheming. But for the moment, Slipstream will toil tirelessly on Shockwave's behalf to root out the Autobots still holed up on Cybertron. And maybe one day, she'll get the opportunity to prove herself by defeating Starscream in combat.

Nacelle: A very aloof character, it's hard to get a bead on Nacelle. While considered a decent warrior by Decepticon standards, Nacelle has never really done much to make herself stand out from the crowd. Content to just be "one of the warriors", it's difficult to know what she's up to, if anything at all. Some have their suspicions on her being sympathetic to the Autobot resistance and feeding them information, allowing them to elude capture, but there is no proof of this. Some think that she's just waiting for the opportunity to overthrow Shockwave, while others just think she wants to be left alone.

    And the Outcast:

Sunstorm: Sunstorm was the first of Shockwave's experiments with radiation, and proof as to why he should never be allowed to utilize such weapons in his experiments. Due to the failure of the experiment, Sunstorm has been left an utterly insane individual, uncontrollably exuding radiation, which led to him being exiled from the Decepticons for fear of being a danger to anyone around him. Between this slight and the insanity that Shockwave's experiment left him with, Sunstorm has taken on a zealous persona, believing his radiation to be a divine gift and he, a prophet who must deliver the ignorant masses of the "salvation" he can offer them. He sees kindred spirits in Toxitron due to their similar abilities, with Sunstorm adopting the moniker of "The Solar Seeker" when fighting alongside the Toxic Transformer.

My ideal take is that they exist as several bands of jet squads...with seekers being the main force with their own Air Commender. I'd also include the 'specialized' seekers....Skyscorchers, Predators, Rainmakers and Cyberjets as more 'Elite Guard' style characters....faster and more deadly than the basic seeker groupings.

The ROTF concept: a special cadre of explorers who set out into the universe exploring what was beyond Cybertron's reaches.

When the war started, the faction (those members who survived and returned) disbanded with its members going to either Autobot or Decepticon.

All Seekers with similar body types are related rather that is brothers and sisters or cousins.

The Seekers are the Decepticon air superiority force. There are other flyers as part as teams, but the Seekers are a division of their own.

Seekers come in sets of three: regular (SS, SW & TC), coneheads(RJ, D & T), Rainmakers (Acid Storm, Ion Storm & Sunstorm -- I consider Novastorm redundant), Welcome (Hotlink, Nacelle & bitstream), etc...

Although they all share the iconic robotmode design, they only share a jettype per set. Thus, for example, three Dassault Rafaele jets (Coneheads), three F15 jets, three F22 jets, etc...

(This specific jet mode per trio also means that each seeker trio has a specific function: air-to-air, air-to-ground, etc..., dependent on the altmode type.)

A Short History of the Seekers

    Overview

The Seekers were a mass-produced series of clones used as shock troops by the Decepticon Empire. The Seekers were the tip of the spear of any planetary invasion force, they were often sent ahead to break the planet's defenses before the Decepticons could land troops. The Seekers were usually kept separate from the other Decepticons due to both the Decepticons being unnerved by the clones and the Seekers believing they were a superior order of life.

    Inception

Starscream had originally envisioned creating a clone army to fight the Decepticons once he became Prime. However, since the Primal Conclave instead gave the Primacy to Optimus Maximus, Starscream felt the Decepticons would be more appreciative of his gifts. To that end, he secretly negotiated with the Decepticon leader Megatron to bring his homeworld of Archon under Decepticon control. To sweeten the deal, Starscream promised Megatron a new corps of aerial warriors loyal solely to Megatron. Since Megatron had only recently become Liege Maximo, he was quick to accept the offer.

Starscream publicly announced that he would personally spearhead the creation of a clone army that would serve as a home guard to protect Archon while its Colonial Defense Force was deployed under the Elite Guard elsewhere. The choice of CNA donors was obvious to both Starscream and the citizens of Archon—Archon's favored sons and daughters, the Aerialbots. During the Autobot Uprising, Starscream was the commander of a team of flying commandos native to Archon called the Aerialbots whose tales of daring-do were the stuff of legend throughout the Commonwealth. Starscream willingly volunteered his CNA and was easily able to browbeat Thrust and Slipstream into providing theirs. Although Jetfire and Alpha Bravo refused to give their permission, Starscream was secretly able to obtain their CNA and began production of their clones as well.

When the Seekers were revealed to the public, their lack of Autobot insignia did not go unnoticed. Instead, they bore a unique sigil designed by Starscream. The Seekers were adored by the Archonites and became celebrities in their own right. When Seekers began appearing on every street corner, they were greeted as noble protectors. With the Seekers protecting Archon, Starscream was able to convince the Elite Guard to call up even more of the colony's CDF. With only a token Autobot presence on Archon, Starscream gave the Decepticons the signal to begin the invasion.

    Treachery

When the Decepticons invaded Archon, the citizens believed the Seekers would protect them. They could not have been more wrong. Operating under Starscream's Contingency Order 66, the Seekers turned on any CDF or Elite Guard personnel still on the planet and killed them on the spot. Only Jetfire and Alpha Bravo were spared because they registered as fellow Seekers by the clones. The Decepticons were able to take control of Archon without firing a shot. With Archon under their control, the Decepticons had a base to stage their offensive into the poorly defended core worlds of the Commonwealth and eventually take Cybertron itself. In each of these battles, the Seekers proved invaluable as shock troops and were essential for conquering Cybertron.

    Ascendency

As the Decepticons' fortunes in the war rose, so too did that of the Seekers. They were increasingly favored by Megatron, who saw them as the perfect warriors with seemingly no personal ambition whatsoever. The success of the Seekers led to Starscream being given the position of Minister of Science and Technology. However, it wasn't long before the Autobots devised their own answer to the Seekers—The Aerialbots. A mass-produced army of flying soldiers personally designed by Jetfire, the Aerialbots proved to be the Seekers' equals in combat. Nevertheless, the Seekers frequently bested them with the aid of the formidable Decepticon war machine.

Ironically, the Seekers continued to gain influence even after the tide of war began to turn against the Decepticons. As Decepticon forces became more and more depleted from attrition, Liege Maximo Straxus ordered an increase in the production of mass-produced troops such as the Seekers and Insecticons to fill out the Decepticon ranks. Unfortunately, the frantic pace at which the new Seekers were produced led to a decrease in effectiveness. However, their quantity soon compensated for any drop in quality. After the failed Gigatron Conspiracy, Straxus began to rely on the Seekers as the backbone of his forces and Starscream as his second-in-command. This proved to be a critical error when Starscream used the Seekers to overthrow Straxus and install himself as Liege Maximo. Starscream immediately ordered a withdrawal of all Decepticon forces back to the Exclave, the series of fortress worlds from which the Decepticons launched their invasion of the Commonwealth. With his army of Seekers behind him, Starscream quickly gained control of the Exclave and began reshaping the network of fortresses into a viable nation.

Virtually overnight, the Seekers became the ruling class in the Decepticon Empire. Most of Starscream's advisors were Seekers and Seeker Lieges Centuro commanded the Decepticon armies. Any dissent was ruthlessly crushed by the Decepticon Secret Police, commanded by Thrust and made up almost entirely of Type IV Seekers.

    Legacy

Three hundred megacycles after the Great War, the Seekers were mythologized by both Predacons and Maximals as powerful warriors that were vital to the success of the Decepticon Empire. The writings of Thundercracker was practically required reading in military academies throughout the galaxy. Both Optimus Primal and Nightscream claimed descent from Seekers and were highly adept at using Seeker Scimitars.

    Types of Seekers

The Seekers were clones of an elite team of flying commandos known as the Aerialbots commanded by Starscream during the Autobot Uprising. As a result, there were five types of Seeker:
    • Type I: This type of Seeker was modelled from Starscream himself and were usually seen to act as unit commanders. Because each Type I Seeker also had Starscream's intelligence, they were exceptionally dangerous opponents to face in battle.
    • Type II: This type of Seeker was modelled after the Aerialbots' second-in-command, Jetfire. This type was mainly seen as the heavy muscle of any Seeker unit. Despite being clones of Jetfire, Type II Seekers only displayed normal levels of intelligence due to Starscream manipulating their neural architecture during their planning phase.
    • Type III: This type of Seeker was modelled after Starscream's sister, Slipstream. Mirroring her role in the Aerialbots, the Type III Seekers were used for sabotage and intelligence gathering.
    • Type IV: This type of Seeker was modelled after the Aerialbots' strategist, Thrust. Nicknamed "Squid Heads", this type of Seeker was commonly used as occupation forces and enforcers of discipline for the Seeker Corps as a whole. As a result, they were disliked by virtually all the other Seekers.
    • Type V: This Type of Seeker was modelled after the Aerialbots' weaponry technician, Alpha Bravo. This type of Seeker was mostly used as medichanics, technicians, and administrators.
    Notable Seekers

    Type I
    • Thundercracker: The first Seeker to be created and the leader of the entire corps throughout the Great War. Thundercracker was fanatically loyal to Starscream due to believing he was indebted to Starscream for creating him in the first place. As a result, Thundercracker became Starscream's personal favorite. Many mistook his loyalty for mindless obedience, but Thundercracker was highly intelligent in his own right. Many Decepticon victories were attributed to his insights.
    • Skywarp: The second Seeker, Skywarp was almost everything Thundercracker wasn't. A born psychopath, Skywarp reveled in slaughter and liked to play cruel pranks on anyone weaker than him. Although he secretly sought Starscream's approval, his love of murder and chaos disgusted Starscream, who kept him at arm's length. Perhaps for that reason, Skywarp was able to form a bond with the Terrorcons, who were also neglected creations of Starscream.
    • Redwing: The third Seeker to be created, Redwing grew to despise Starscream and believed himself to be an overall improvement over his creator. Redwing spent most of the war living vicariously through Starscream and fantasizing about murdering him. After the War, Red Wing decided to make his fantasy a reality and made a poorly-conceived attempt to assassinate Starscream. Red Wing was exiled from the Empire and became a pirate.
    • Hotlink: Hotlink was built to serve as Starscream's chief engineer. He took Starscream's ideas and found ways to make them a reality. He was despised by his fellow Seekers who saw him as a spineless sycophant.
    • Jhiaxus: Jhiaxus was a true believer in Cybertronian supremacy and the Decepticon cause. When Starscream signed the Tyrest Accords, Jhiaxus believed he betrayed Cybertronian civilization and defected to Straxus's army. Although he initially mistrusted him, Straxus allowed Jhiaxus into his inner circle due to lack of personnel.
    Type II
    • Sunstorm: Ironically for a clone of Jetfire, Sunstorm was a religious fanatic who believed the Great War was a holy crusade against the heretical Autobots. After the war, Sunstorm was thought lost in a trans-dimensional accident. However, he later reappeared with strange new powers he claimed was given to him by a being he called Tornedron.
    • Overcast: One of the first Seekers to rebel against Starscream, Overcast grew disgusted by Decepticon atrocities and defected to the Autobots.
    Type III
    • Acid Storm: The self-loathing Acid Storm despised herself for being a clone. She saw herself as being a meaningless copy among a sea of meaningless copies. As a result, she grew bitter and hateful towards anything and everyone. She wanted everyone to feel as miserable as she did.
    • Nova Storm: The cheerful Nova Storm saw the war as one great big game and treated the Autobots no worse than an athlete would treat a fellow competitor. She didn't know why anyone would take the war so seriously. After the war, Starscream made her the Decepticon ambassador to the Commonwealth just to be rid of her and her bubbly personality.
    • Ion Storm: The level-headed Ion Storm was Acid Storm's and Nova Storm's self-appointed minder, making sure they were focused on their missions. She soon gained the reputation of being a duty-bound killjoy, but Ion Storm took it as a badge of courage. Someone needed to make sure everyone was doing what they needed to be doing, it might as well be her!
    • Bitstream: Bitstream was an expert hacker and adept at conducting acts of cyberterrorism.
    Type IV
    • Dirge: A grim nihilist, Dirge believed the war was an exercise in futility. Nevertheless, he believed he had no choice but to fight since he was created for that very purpose
    • Ramjet: A shameless flatterer, Ramjet constantly shadowed Thrust and plied him with complements in the hope of receiving praise and validation.
    • Contrail: A bot of insatiable greed, Contrail was a ruthless merchant of death who commanded a modest mercantile empire after the Great War.
    Type V
    • Spinister: Although Spinister was assigned to be a medichanic, he found he preferred taking lives to saving lives. Patients under his care more often then not ended up dead of "natural causes". After the war, he decided life was too short not to follow one's dreams and became a mercenary.
    • Blackout: Red Wing's friend, Blackout followed him into exile and became his second-in-command when Red Wing became a pirate.
    • Grindor: A data analyst by day and a pit fighter by night, Grindor was a bot of sound mind and body.
    • Evac: An expert in search and rescue, Evac became disillusioned by the Decepticon cause and defected to the Autobots.
    • Skybite: A Seeker infused with Sharkticon CNA, Skybite was an outcast among the other Seekers. After the war, he swore fealty to another bestial creation of Starscream, Deathsaurus.

    - Vos is the Seekers home
    - they possess superior tracking and detection skills and a high-level of firepower. Therefore they were (and still are) used for special work / occasions such as; To guard the secret of Dark Energon (in ancient times), to seek for Energon...or as flight capable soldiers.
    - Decepticons Air Force
    - Starscream is their commander
    - they're no clones, but each an individual.
    - Seekers always fly / work as a Trine (but every now and then different Trigons join forces with each other as well)
    - they can have different body types, but within the Trigon all of them share the same body type
    - their relationship with each other is something between work colleagues / friends / brothers. Which doesn't allways mean "love, peace, and harmony" (especially not if you've been together / working together for millions of years), every now and then there can be also major disputes - including temporary "break-ups", as shown in IDW (but this is very rare).
    - there are also Trigons which consist of female Seekers (or mixed ones)
    - I personally like (and prefer) the original G1 Rainmakers (all male) - but how about a "new", this time female Rainmaker group (with different skills)?

My opinion is that they are pretty and I love them and I will never walk in heels the way they do. So unfair.

As a Seekers fanboy, I would like see them have their different designs, something that IDW did.

An aerial body type used as the grunt of the Primal Vanguard Air Force. Is also considered a rank. Nearly all Seekers joined General Megatron in splitting from the Primal Vanguard and becoming the Decepticons. The highest ranking Seeker was First Lieutenant Starscream.

Definitely NOT what they've been doing with them as of late, where they're as disposable as Vehicons.

I had the idea that the Seekers are basically a Decepticon air force, and there's an academy for it.

Starscream - the prodigy flier, the best of his class though also through nepotism (his mother would be the headmistress) that Megatron recruits into his ranks.

Thundercracker - basically his IDW self, has his doubts about the cause would be more interested in a career in Hollywood.

Skywarp - a lazy uninspired dullard with a bit of a trickster streak, basically like Lenny from The Simpsons. usually gets the best lines.

Slipstream - Starscream's number two, always there to put him down and wants to watch him fail cause it amuses her.

Dirge - a nihilistic death seeker obsessed with death, also very unlucky (heavily implied to be Waspinator's ancestor)

Ramjet - a brutish thug, with a bit of an interest in the Unicron occult stuff.

Thrust - a less treacherous version of the Armada version, very flamboyant and prissy tactical genius, he's usually bullied by his peers often dubbed "Squidhead"

Acid Storm - has a personality a bit simmilair to Master Chief from Arby n' the Chief. loves to game but sucks at it. also a bit of a klutz, needless to say not very popular especially with his acidic power set.

Red Wing - has a huge chunnibyou complex, acts basically like Dante from Devil May Cry. also a fembot (homage to how in Cyberverse's japanese dub Thrust was renamed Red Wing and was in the first seasons dub made female while Acid Storm is male before they switched it back to how it is in english in the 2nd season).

Sunstorm - Starscream's main rival in the academy, has more of a god complex and is basically like a walking sun that could explode, is a ticking time bomb.

G2 Sandstorm - basically a Decepticon version of Peanut's Pigpen. always a messy dust cloud, things will get dirty when he's around. not popular or well liked, was recruited thankfully for campaigns on desert planets or places with desert terrain.

The Seekers make up the bulk of the Decepticon army. They view each other as brothers and sisters.

Dirge is Waspinator’s great grandpa. He’s also the last surviving seeker alongside Slipstream who is Waspinator’s great aunt. Well there is also Starscream, but we’ll it’s Starscream.

I'd love Starscream, Thundercracker and Skywarp to be brothers or relatives, everyone else should look different. And Starscream as the mightiest and most dangerous plane bot, leader of the Seekers- that would be those 3 and every other Decepticon plane- and besides the 3 that can be similar (not the same), everyone else should be distinct
