    Hello. I was just wondering...

I recently moved and had to pack/repack things...and I found my classics BW Dinobot that I actually forgot I owned. I forgot how friggin cool he was...coloring, transformation, mold, etc..It was like a mini christmas...

so...Is there anyone that has had a similar experience? Find someting in the back of your closet, attic, dug up in the backyard???

Sadly not. I only moved house at the very end of last year so I am up to date on what I've got, especially as I have rearranged my collection room on several ocassions since then.

The closest thing I can think of is realising that the prices for classics/henkei Rodimus were going sky high and I already owned him!

I was not so lucky where Ultra Magnus was concerned...

I only experienced that when you move from one room to another or from one house to another, that things you expected to find still stay lost :(

While this doesn't often happen with Transformers, I did dig out my old Turbo Rescue Megazord recently while diggin in my basement and forgot how huge and sturdy it was. The individual robots were really cool, too.

Which is not to say this hasn't happened with TFs in the past. I'm re-collecting Beast Wars and I have been re-buying a lot of figures I've lost or broken so there's rediscovery with every toy that comes in the mail. I had forgotten how damn awesome they were. Though I don't know if that counts.

In the last 2 weeks, I've rediscovered Omega Prime, Energon Landmine and Robotmasters Beast Megatron. Not so much I forgot I had them, just hadn't seen them in a long time.

I've just moved so I had a chance to look at all the toys I had gotten but put away to keep safe....

Shadow Hawk Cosmos Type from Superlink. This toy really needs to get repainted and used in generations I dont care who as its just a really nice basic toy.

the Hybrid Style toys. Both G1 and Galaxy Convoy are real gems

The Robot Masters... all of them I had gotten the past few years. I found a stash of mine while digging stuff out. My favs being the Cyberjet repaints and the Blue G1 coloured machine wars mirage.

WST VSX set the box is so small it just got put behind bigger boxes.

That's actually how I got back into collecting them.I was going through some boxes a few years ago and found all my G1 figs that my mom had saved.I started fiddling with them to see if I could still remember how to transform them, and I thought these guys still kick ass. Then I was at a store and decided to pick up a few new ones and it took off from there.

I have everything on display (it's not that I have a shit-ton of displays, it's that I don't own much)... But every 6 months or so, I transform Leader Brawl and think to myself "wow, and to think I wasn't gonna buy this".

A few years ago, right when I started collecting, I was digging around my mom's house, and I found my original 1st run Hound from 1984. No date on the stamp, just the diaclone-like 'TAKARA' with a circle! Broken mirror, pretty loose, and no accessories to be found, but He was my very first transformer, and ironically the only one left in my mom's basement! I'll never get rid of it.

Close to what got me into it! I was bummed, didn't want to study for a teat, thought about my old pal jetfire, went into the attic and found him and a few other g1 figs and there you go. They sat on my tv for a few years until I moved in with my now-wife. She encouraged the hobby and also insisted on shelves. Yay!
