I was always into transformers but never really into collecting the toys. Until i came across DOTM crankcase at TRU bought it didn't open it until i saw reviews on youtube lol. I saw peaugh's review on him and well i loved the toy then i saw his reviews on more of the DOTM line and well i subbed to him and now i'm collecting.

 

Beast Wars Megatron! Back in 2000...

 

RID Prowl, followed immediately by RID Optimus.

 

I briefly got back into Transformers collecting during RiD when I bought Prowl. I bought a fair amount of the line then lost interest when Armada was released. I got back into TFs a second time when I bought Cybertron Vector Prime. I've been collecting since.

 

Classics Voyager Prime. Prior to that, the A/E/C era had completely sucked the life out of me. I'd just about lost my passion for TFs until that one day when I discovered a Classics Prime in a local Target. I was back, Baby!  

 

Movie 1 Bonecrusher. Followed by Movie 1 Brawl. Not sure how I stayed collecting, but I thought they were great at the time. Course they were the first two I had purchased in 20 years.

 

WFC Optimus Prime. First one since Beast Wars.

 

Fansproject Aerial Add-On Kit with the ROTF Superion Maximus team.

Had I not gone and browsed eBay for this... well let's just say I'd have *A LOT* more money in my pocket.

It was the gateway to plastic crack addiction! >_< Before that, I bought the first set of official WST Transformers... about five years prior.

dotm leader class sentinal after months of not getting anything but i only but about 4 dotm figures then stopped for a few months and mp rodimus convoy seems like my real comeback figure since ive fully started collecting again (got mp grimlock, generations thundercracker and united drift ready to ship on my pile of loot right now)

 

After G1, got back into it with RID Omega Prime and Galvatron... Then, came back a second time with MP Prime & Megatron, along with Henkei Prime & Megs.

 

After having left the fandom for about 20 years....my first comeback TF was ROTF voyager Starscream in 2009. I already loved the design in 2007 but I didn't deem the first mold good enough.

 

Everything ended after Beast Wars, ROTF Leader Prime brought me back

 

I never really stopped collecting but Classics Jetfire was the figure that really brought me back into the hobby heavily.

 

The one that brought me back was BW Dinobot in the late 90s. This was even before the show.

 

Some of the 3" Titanium, as in G1 Optimus Prime, BB, Smokescreen, Grimlock, movie Prime, Blackout and BB.

In terms of movie toys, though, it was probably the TFTM Robot Heroes BB vs Barricade before I graduated to legends with TFTM Prime and Megatron and deluxe class with Jungle Bonecrusher.

I think my first Voyager was TFTM Prime.

Energon Downshift, because I thought he would make a good Wheeljack
