i think i was 14 when it first aired. back then when we didn't have cable tv. i remember watching him all the time. cbc was playing rowan like crazy. canadian air farce wasn't too bad.
I remember seeing that when I was much younger, but then again, it might be older than we think, and I'm 23 right now, so maybe I'm younger than you. Also, I hear ya about Air Farce. That + Red Green + Adams Family was what I watched before I had cable because it was either that or... several hours of Farmgate. Oh, and shit I totally forgot about Sarah Silverman. Speaking of which, did anyone watch that show "Greg the Bunny" with her, Eugene Levy & Seth Green?
Thanks I remember him from re-runs of All In The Family. Here is a video: All in the Family - Archie Bunker Meets Sammy Davis - YouTube. I added Dean Martin because of his variety show (currently have 3 dvds).
Well, it's basically a monologue, so it's not in the realm of improve or talk shows, although the latter of which can also be argued as stand up at times.
hahaha. i can't believe its like almost 5 am. i've been laughing alone in the living room for hours now. i have yet to see robin williams. watching now. edit hahahahaha i can't believe i forgot patrice oneal. the poltergeist! bwahahaha.
robin harris Sam Kinison Bill Hicks ...they all were gone too soon. I miss Steven Wright. Eddie Griffin George Carlin i like abstract comedy more than raunch these days, though. now this is gonna put me in the realm of redneck, but... I like country comedians. Not the Blue Collar Tour guys, but the old school comedians. Jerry Clower- he just reminds me of the relatives i clung to as a kid that told stories so well. Lewis Grizzard- maybe he wasn't a stand up comedian by definition, but his one man shows were great. and he was a fabulous story teller, of funny stories.
Richard Pryor George Carlin Sam Kinison Eddie Murphy Denis Leary Rodney Dangerfield Yeah, I'm old school. Very few today, I can think of, can hold a candle to the any genius above. Dave Chappelle is pretty damn funny though.
how to be a good dad by Teeuwen LOL i wish there were more subtitles for comedians for all to share. rich praytor different ways of worshiping. different kind of flavours. white church jumping up and down = LOL watch it.
i've been watching him destroy hecklers. hahaha. kinda like that epic come back from daigo in street fighter. epic win hecklers are the worst they don't know when to give up. hecklers are kinda like online trolls. the difference is the latter are just slow witted fools. they both think they're funny but trolls actually have time to think that shit up and type it out. online trolls = even slower witted heckler. also trolls actually keep going without stopping to think how stupid they are.
