So, yeah. TF has had a lot of different aesthetics over the years, and I felt like making a topic about it. My favorite TF aesthetic has got to be Animated's look. There's something to be said for each character having vastly different silhouettes, and the varying body-types allowing for more unique transformations. Plus, the designs have far more personality than any other series. Plus, they all have different faces and heads, which is awesome. At a close second, I'd probably put Prime - it's like Animated, but a bit more complicated and Movie-esque. I'm not sure if it counts, but I'd also put G1 TFs drawn by Nick Roche in here - it's a nice hybrid between the expressiveness and stylization of Animated with the classical look. My least favorite aesthetic is probably WFC/FOC. Considering how most of the TFs have the same "Balloonformers" proportions, and they all turn into Cybertronian vehicle modes of various unconvincing-ness (Hell, WFC Megatron was a less convincing vehicle than Movie 1 Megatron. Seriously.), and the combination of the things I like least about the G1 aesthetics and the Movie aesthetics make this a look I'd rather see discarded once the WFC/FOC series is over.
