Ive been going through and re-watching the kevin smith movies that are in the one universe (askew-niverse). i gota say, my favorite is clerks 2 (the conclusion of an epic bromance, plus hot rosario dawson is always great). I know a lot of people throw hate his way (i understand that) but for those of you that like his movies, wich ones your favorite? let me know :D

(ive included the none askewniverse ones aswell for fairness sake)

Tough choice, but Mallrats always wins out in the end.

I used to really like Kevin Smith's movies, but my tastes must have changed a lot over the past few years and I just can't force myself to watch through any of them now. I guess I'll vote for Jersey Girl, solely because George Carlin has a fairly important role and gives a very good performance in an otherwise stupid movie.

Dogma, despite having seen most of those movies, Dogma remains the favourite. I can't explain why, but it does.

Clerks. We wouldn't have Jay & Silent Bob without it.

I had to go with Mallrats just because the whole movie was kinda ridiculous but normal enough for ridiculous humor to be funny.

I almost want to say Clerks 2, as it kinda addresses getting older really well... up until the 3rd act where Mr. Smith, as per usual, had to have some over-the-top finale that included Donkey Sex and some kid crying while masterbating and everyone getting arrested.

    Chasing Amy

    then Clerks 2.

I don't count Cop Out as even being his movie because he didn't write it. He's a writer who happens to "direct", not a director.

Cop-Out is possibly one of the worst "comedies" of all time.

Chasing Amy was so bad I never even finished it.

I'd probably have to go with J&SB Strike Back or Clerks II.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike back...

The whole movie in one line......."This isn't fair. We came to Hollywood, I fell in love. F***in', we got shot at, we stole a monkey, and I got punched in the motherf**king nuts by a guy named Cock-Knocker. "-Jay

That's a shame. The likeness rights payoff meeting at the end is by far the best part of the film.

Next to "What's a nubian?", that is.

I went with zac and miri make a porno since nobody else did.

It would have been mallrats, but that movie did not age well. It was so cool back in the day, now the dialog comes off as trite and forced - it's painful to watch.
