I hope I won't get crucified for resurrecting this thread, but which Arcee would go best with MP's? There are so many out there... I just picked up Takara LG10 from a toy show, but haven't opened her yet in case there are some better.

Much as I like Generations Arcee, she's probably about my third favorite Arcee figure.

First would probably be Animated, since I like her body design and the colors better.

My second favorite, though, would be the one I used to fill Arcee's spot in my CHUG collection up until Generations: Movie 1 Scout Elita-1. I'm actually quite fond of the first Movie 1 use of the Energon mold in blue, but the darker metallic take on her G1 colors wins out for me, name be damned.

I have 6 Arcee figures, though if you include mold re-colours, that number becomes 15. Alas none of them really goes well with my Masterpiece figures. The closest official figure is the one you have, LG-10 Arcee. If you include 3P, then I'd say MGT-01 Delicate Warrior.

Okay, thanks!.. and you're right. The MP's, for the most part, are too big and dwarf Arcee in most incarnations. They'll make an MP figure for her... eventually.

MMC hands down. Hasbro's is nice lady g1 arcee, but MMC has the IDW psycho arcee.

Generations is my favorite. It's also the only one I currently own... But TFP Arcee is my next one to get.

Probably Generations Arcee, with Animated and Prime-RID tied for second.

Yeah, the current selection of Arcees, whether official or not, are all too small. Here are my 6, although I leave the Takara Legends Arcee in her box, as the box presentation is so nice, so I display her with the similarly boxed Takara Legends Windblade and Chromia. Hopefully the upcoming Takara Legends Slipstream and Blackarachnia (sorry can't get on board with that Nightbird... thing) will have a matching boxed presentation, so I can display them all boxed together.

To me, Arcee is pink, not blue or any other colour, and she ain't no bikeformer. Hence Arcees such as Prime, Movie, PE, etc... have no place in my Arcee collection. I've nothing against bikeformers though, as I have both Takara Legends and Hasbro Generations Chromia, and they are just fine.

I've posed the three Arcees I think had the most chance of complementing Masterpiece figures, but they don't go too well. Too small, and also as my MP figures are pre-TFTM, the aesthetic is all wrong as well. A Masterpiece Arcee would really need to be posed alongside TFTM 'bots like Springer, Hotrod, Magnus, etc... and as the few TFTM Masterpiece figures we have are quite a bit bigger (e.g. Ultra Magnus and Rodimus) than the S1/2 MP cars like Sideswipe, the size issue is only going to be worse.

And yes, I admit I am hopeless at posing my figures!

We need a larger sized Arcee, to go with Masterpiece figures, but then this brings up the question, do people want the G1 style Arcee, or the more modern IDW style(s) of Arcee for their MP collections?

I agree with you about Generations Arcee. It's almost like Hasbro knew how long we'd waited for a proper Arcee, and they totally delivered. My second would be MMC's Azalea. She looks phenomenal in bot mode, but loses points for the crazy-ass transformation. I've actually only put her in alt mode once. I was afraid of snapping one of the myriad tiny hinges on my $60 toy. Other than that, she looks great as IDW Arcee.
