Which is your favorite 3rd Party company in terms of pricing, quality, and fun?

My vote would have to go to Fansproject, even though I own more TFC Toys products. The crossfire set is just so damn fun!

The companies listed are ones that have made at least 3 different toys, that aren't just add-ons.

Where's Toyworld? Their Megatron and Rollbar are both great toys and a great standard for a "new" company. Or are they being viewed as a rebadged iGear? Their 3rd toy is also due out soon.

By this stage, you're probably best just rolling with it, then put the top 4 in a death match with Toyworld in a month's time.

I voted for TFC, because at the moment the 3rd Party Toy I enjoy looking at the most is TFC Herc. It is my near perfect verson of Devestator. Maybe I'll change that to Power Master Prime from Xovergen if they manage to make a good toy next month. But I've my worries about that one...

though I just realised out of them all I probably own more toys from iGear than any other 3rd Party company... so being my fave doesn't exactly mean I'll give them the most of my money... odd that.

For me, with what I own, it's a toss-up between iGear and Fansproject Since I own more FP stuff than iGear, I went with FP.

Currently I'm feeling FansProject, then TFC, then Maketoys; followed by a joint fourth between iGear, Mastermind and Perfect Effect.

Fansproject. The new United Ultra Magnus makes me want to break out my City Commander armor again.

Fansproject as they're responsible for getting me started with 3rd party products and Bruticus with the add-ons is utter perfection.

Hard to say, but for this year it would be Mastermind Creations. I buy pretty much all FP's products and they tend to be solid products, but their engineering tends to be "let's play it on the safe side", whereas IMHO Mastermind Creations this year has really pushed the envelope. Anyone in that list can make a transforming figure and all of them has at least one product that anyone can rightly claim as the best figure, so you need to stand out in other aspects, and in my mind, MMC is that company.

I went for MakeToys, but for me it will always be a tie between them and FansProject

FP started it all for me but I've sold a few of my FP possessions off lately. I want but don't currently own Maketoys Giant or Igears Mini Warriors. So I'm going with Perfect Effect based on the SFX and its variations.

FansProject is number 1 for me. Their plastic quality is top notch and it can support die-cast metal. (I personally don't care for metal parts, but the fact that the plastics can hold it and be durable...A+ in my book.) Their prices aren't ridiculous either.

Close second is MakeToys. Giant is a marvel, but their plastic seems a bit softer and weaker than FP's in spots. It feels like some of it wants to give, under pressure. (I could very well be wrong, though.)

I can't really speak for the other companies, seeing as I don't have their product.

Well, except for Impossible Toys... I have their Valkyrie (Arcee) figure. I personally enjoy it quite a bit, but I can see why so many don't. The plastic's thin, the construction is questionable and it's ridiculously priced for being so ridiculously small.

Mastermind Creations is the 3rd Party company I like most because I love their unique designs. They're also the only company I actually own products from. :lol

Igear for their specialists and minibots.

At least, until Toyworld give us their IDW Prime figure and/or a 3rd party FINALLY give me a Blaster!

Fansproject. Besides being very high quality, I just dig their design style.

    iGear.

The G1 aesthetic they're using on their PP series and Mini Warriors is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for and I'm hoping for more great stuff from them in the future.

The PP05 pair are two of the best representations of G1 characters from any company and the Mini Warriors are damn good as well.

Because of their early releases and impatient collectors with an overinflated sense of entitlement they get treated like the AntiChrist of 3rd party groups but that's doing them a big disservice.

If they can continue to bring out stuff of the same quality as Ironhide, Ratchet & the Mini Warriors then they'll remain my favorite 3rd party group.

TFC because their stuff feels like something that Hasbro or Takara would put out themselves. In terms of quality of plastic and engineering as well as aesthetic, I think TFC fits in perfectly with my Generations (CHUG) collection.

I do own way more FP figures, but their plastics seem too fragile and you can tell the figure is 3rd-party. This just makes me too afraid to actually play with anything from FP, otherwise the price is very good.
