I’ve been (prolificly) collecting for 18 months now, and with all my purchases and paid-for pre-orders, I’ve ticked off over 75% of my “wants” list. Looking at what was left, I know I’ll never get 100%, as some of the characters I’m after are too insignificant to warrant a figure of their own, but I’m hoping 90% isn’t unattainable. My wishlist is below. What’s yours? And don’t tell me you haven’t got one.

MMC – Lazerbeak and the inevitable Buzzsaw… I know they’ll be good, but whereas Ravage, Rumble and Frenzy needed upscaling to look right on the shelf, I feel MP Lazerbeak and Buzzsaw work fine at the size they are, as does KFC’s Badbat… so I’ll have to wait until I’ve seen reviews.

Omega Supreme – Still waiting to see more renders from Gigapower, as if I commit to one, that’s likely the route I’ll go rather than Fanstoys… but my bigger issue is the sheer size of him. I honestly don’t know where I’d put him. I use detolfs, which he will clearly be too big and heavy for, so the only place I can think of is the floor, but then he’s not part of the display. The sheer size of this one may prevent a purchase… at least for a while.

HasTak – Scrounge. I like him (I always loved the Generations Cosmos he’s based on), even though he’s not in any way accurate to his comic appearance… but I don’t want the rest of the Technobots you need to get as part of the set he’s with… and I don’t appreciate the price gouging people are trying on Ebay to get him by himself. He’s a 10/20 quid figure at best (a remold no less), so I’m not going to spend 50 to 80 quid on him. Now he’s got an official release though, I hope it may pave the way for a 3rd party to take interest at some point.

I’ve got Generations Straxus, but really he’s just a placeholder… and the more MP style Decepticons fill out my ranks, the more ridiculous he looks. I really hope someone will take a stab at a MP version of him. His angular appearance would really suit Fanstoys or Badcube.

I’ve got Fansprojects Barrage, Chopshop and Ransack and they’ll do if nothing else come out (although the missing Venom is annoying), but it would be nice for one of the big boys to take a stab. I’ve got the Fanstoys Insecticons, so wishful thinking is that at some point they’ll finish the line.

I also wouldn’t mind a comic style MP Scorponok, taller than MP10, which doesn’t have to bother with the battle station transformation or headmaster gimmick… but if that never happens I won’t be that fussed.

My MP collection is about complete.

Arcee, Kup, Springer and Cyclonus. Once those are in-hand, I could give two shits if anything G1/MP related is ever released again.

I may "sprinkle" some odds and ends into the collection now and again, but those will make my collection "complete."


As for voyager/large "chug" IDW figures .... give me the entire cast. I want them all.

 

For MP, the only things I really need are a decent Cliffjumper and a Jazz. I have J4ZZ and won't be parting ways with it, but would like a g1 MP Jazz. I would also like to see someone take a crack at a better Bumblebee, improve the headsculpt and hollow forearms.

CHUG, IDW, and modern takes on characters I'll keep buying as long as they're cool. I loved Spartan, perfect IDW Impactor for me. Striker Manus is awesome and I can't wait for Rioter Despotron.

HasTak has really impressed me with CW and TR. I can't believe I like TR, I was never really that into headmasters. They just need to get over the hollow forearm fetish.

I rotate one display and store or sell off stuff so I'm not bored or overloaded. With my personal display and collecting habits I'll always be buying, MP is just slowing down for me.

 

I'm looking to finish up an MP Ark crew. MMC Terragis, MT Downbeat, XTB Cliffjumper, BC Grump.
My Nemesis crew(+Shockwave) was completed with the arrival of Spotter/Reflector a few weeks ago.

I have no specific characters that I want. If I see a toy that looks sweet, I'll get it, but that's a decision driven by the toy, not by the character.
I was not a Transformers fan as a child, I am not into this for nostalgia or memberberries. I like cool toys.
I had no idea who Tarn is and still don't, but that is a toy I want. I didn't get Hellfire because I love the character Inferno - it's just a really cool toy and a TF that turns into a firetruck is poretty iconic.
Yes, there are designs that I love like Octopunch and Bludgeon and Scorpinok, but that doesn't determine what toys I'll get.

I assume my list is like everyone else's: COLLECT ALL THE G1 SEASON 1-3 characters. Except I'm stopping at season 2 because I'm not into season 3 guys (such as Hot Rod, Ultra Magnus, Springer, and Wheelie. I love Kup though as my single standout.)

With that said, I really hope for a Takara Trailbreaker, Mirage, Hound, Jazz, Sunstreaker, Hoist, Skids, Windcharger, Huff, Brawn, Cliffjumper, and Gears.

If TT doesn't make most of those, I just hope they make a Sunstreaker, Mirage, Trailbreaker, and Cliffjumper. The rest I'm happy with the 3P's like Gundog and Downbeat.

I'm waiting for everything else in pre-order like Grinder and Cesium to finish my Dinobots collection. Waiting for ToyWorld Coneheads. And all the mini-bots like Cosmos, Seaspray, etc.

Other than that, I love IDW, so I'll collect those continually like the DJD, Lost Light characters (yes, I love that Hot Rod and Autobot Megatron) from the MMC Reformatted line.

 

More CHUG. More CHUG in general. So long as it fits my size and aesthetic preferences, I'll accept it into my collection.

Specifically, I'm waiting on DNA Susanoo, MasterMade Destroy Scorpion, and almost anything Maketoys comes out with in their Cross Dimension line.

Aside from that, I have my eye on MMC's Oberon and Titanika. Oh, and Fansproject Pinchar since I need a complete set of Dinobots.

 

I use the term need loosely, but in order to satiate my OCD personality disorder, I need to:
