As much I would say SFIV as I rather wait for other games like Splinter Cell: Conviction before making judgments since SCC could easily beat SFIV.

So far 2009 has been really slow for me. I think about the only games I got that where released in 2009 where Red Faction Gurellia, Resident Evil 5 and X3:Terran Conflict.

Sooooo if I had to choose, uhm.... Red Faction for now. The destruction is crazy!

I forgot that Tom Clancys HAWX is a 2009 title. Now I'm getting all my games date's confused I dont know what I have that's been in 2009 or 2008.

 

Wow, going over this thread I can see why I've barely played any games this year. There's nothing really worth playing apparently. I think RE5 is the only one I've put much time into, and nothing else has really given me much interest, though I need to rent Punch-Out and MadWorld. Bionic Commando unfortunately kinda sucks.

Street Fighter 4 for now but Call of Duty MW 2 will be the game of the year hands down for me though when it comes out.

 

20 =/= all like the other guy was claiming to have done.

 

UFC is pretty fun and I enjoy it a lot. You should give it a shot.

I guess I would have to say the only game I bought this year so far is Gundam Dynasty Warriors 2.

And there is a lot more to the game than Achievements.

 

So far it is Punch Out. Only because I haven't gotten RE5 yet. But Ghostbusters comes out next week so that may take my top spot as well.

SF4 is good, but definitely not my GOTY.

 

So far it's Street Fighter 4, and I like RE5 as well. Haven't had a lot of time to delve into either of them, but one of these weekends...

As with others, I expect Call of Duty to rise to the top, as I was a HUGE fan of CoD4. Can't wait to check out Ghostbusters...not sure if TF2ROTF will be a rental or purchase just yet.

 

Gundam Dynasty Warriors 2, followed by SF4 for now. What I like about the Gundam Dynasty Warriors is how the game developers tweaked the hack and slash formula. For example, friendship levels, additional skills, differnt storylines, specific missions for different characters and the "final mission - True Dynasty Warriors mission" is a BEAST.

However, it may change after Tekken 6 and GOW3 is released. Heck, I'm so pumped up for Tekken! XD
