This thread was enjoyable. I wouldn't say I've got too many. I HAVE outgrown my ability to display them, but given our small house, that means two glass display cases (albeit large ones). We plan on moving in the next few years at which point we'll have a game room where I can significantly open up my display, so I'm buying with that space in mind. Now, if I outgrow that, then I'll have too many:)

When your mother tells you to get yourself a condo just to house your collection. And she's not joking. It's not that she wants me out of the house, she thinks it's a pity and waste of resources that most of my stuff are in plastic bins.

I do have a spreadsheet, but it's not to remember to ones I have. I use to keep track of names, and also which figures are complete, which have pieces missing (and also what's missing), and which figures have broken pieces (and which pieces are broken  ). Other than that I don't really have that many figures right now, so I guess I don't really apply for anything else in this thread, so I'll contribute something:
-When you can't remember when/why you got certain figures.
As soon as that happens I plan to stop collecting.

You know you have too many Transformers when neighbors start trying to buy tickets before coming in your house

You know you have too many Transformers when Cybertron calls YOU for reinforcements

Yes. I've had that problem as well. Armada/Energon/Cybertron toys are cool. But since classics and G1 need to be displayed I don't have the shelf space free for them.

So I just mix my favorites from those lines in with the classics displays. May not be the most historically accurate display. But I think its fun.

I rearranged my display again. Now it's 1 shelf for G1 and Prime Bots, one for G1 and Prime Cons.

when you get worried that your firefighter friend is going to report you for being a fire hazard due to having so much cardboard in an enclosed space
(i actually worried about this if he saw my storage room last time he came over )
