you pass on all the new movie Optimus Prime / Bumblebee molds and their repaints.
I lost interest in the movie line figures long ago.Still have interest in the "classic style" lines.
TFPrime molds look ok so far [what I have seen anyway]
I haven't gotten to that far.
When you start digging out your old Legos and start going on Kingdom Hearts Wiki, the Kingdom Hearts encyclopedia more often
If that's all that counts for losing interest in Transformers, I guess most of us have lost interest, then. CLEAR OUT THE BOARDS, FOLKS!
But in all seriousness, that's not a sign of anything other than being tired of seeing the endless sea of repaints. Besides, once in a while a good one will come by (Cyberfire Bumblebee, anyone?
That's where your bar is set? At movie molds and bad repaints of movie molds of the two most overproduced characters ever?
Yikes, if that's the case, then I apparently lost interest in Transformers back in 2007.
Nah man, your suffering from years of movie style fatigue. Try passing by a new wave off classics or Prime toys when they start popping up at the end of the year.
I guess I never had an interest in Transformers then.
Only with the movie toys. I used to buy lots of movie toys until the end of ROTF. Then when the DOTM toys came out, I picked up a small handful. I really don't need any the repaints of the same characters I have better molds of.
You had Amazon Unicron in your cart 3 different times but just couldn't pull the trigger.
When you finally get rare and hard to find figures at retail and then put them on a shelf and collect dust.
That and yet i'm still running out of room.
Seriously? I haven't bought a single DotM piece and only a handful from the previous movies which I have so far sold.
Nah, losing interest is not bothered to bid on a set of 5 Predacons that's only sitting at £28 with 5 minutes to go.....
I don't think passing on figures mean you have lost interest. I've passed on plenty of repaints because it was being sold as the same character, and I already had said character in that mold. Now, if it was another character, and I liked the mold, I'd grab it.
It also depends on the line the figure is from. Except for the upcoming Soundwave figures, and possibly the Japanese exclusive Deluxe Class Skywarp, I'm not interested in any more movie figures ATM, but, my interest in Classics, and United (since that will be the only way to get the new Rumble and Frenzy) is just as strong as ever.
I lost interest for a while because the Unicron trilogy was just so bland (but a couple of the toys were kinda cool). Classics and Movie 1 reignited that Spark p), and everything since then has kept me going.
Agreed about the Unicron Trilogy. The cartoons were a little, well, I want to say "emo". but that doesn't quite describe what I want to say. However, I did enjoy the Armada and Energon comics, until Energon was canceled, and the PS2 game was pretty awesome.
I must not be interested, because out of the two,I've only bought Deluxe Prime,Deluxe BB and Nitro BB for Dotm, and the only one I plan on getting now is Cyberfire BB to repurpose as Hot Shot
When the only thing you see is a sea of yellow, red, and blue; who wouldn't lose interest. Only a matter of time before the Prime toys show up.
...you're not on the internet reading threads about losing interest in Transformers.
On topic: This. If you can walk be these and not buy one, then yes, you have lost interest.
