I'm surprised nothing new popped up from Yolo park at Toy Fair. Guess we have to wait for another fair or an online reveal, but I guess speculation won't hurt either.

Oh god those markings do look like spinners...

I'd assume he's a tank since I doubt he's a pistol.

 

While it doesn't appear to match the silhouette, if the face was less stylized it can be the perfect movie Megatron.

Look like bolts to me, but hey there's no rule that says they couldn't have bolts. Something has to hold those plates in place.

I can really see him having a tank alt mode with the legs, but the weird triggers on his shoulders say gun. I think if you remove them it'll be perfect.

 

Megs looks like it belongs in a Terminator movie.

 

Aren't Terminators typically characterized as being skeletal and... well, skeletal?

 

Terminators have evolved throughout movies, no? The design depicted in the artwork may not be completely faithful to what you may consider a terminator, but the color, lighting, etc. used strikes me as Terminator-esque.

Edit: Every Terminator sequel has expanded on the classic terminator design. My point is, Megs looks like a stone cold metal, walking death machine from the future.  

 

Quite sad that I won't get to see the design :/. Leaving for Basic Military training soon.

Well if you go back to somewhere in page 1 or 3 where I quote my description of megatron face, fortunately, his design is similar to the bee movie characters with their face revealed like ironhide, cliff jumper and brawn

Well I will have to say the short barrel does look similar but the chest seems a little too rounded off then one I rmb seeing and it did used a slightly darker shade of grey/silver

 

Did they ever have a release date for this statue

 

So far don't think so but recently there's this news report of a live action transformers TV show is in the making, taking place after the bee movie and may focus more on the decepticons, so.... Maybe then atleast megs will be officially reveal?
