An extra $60 over primal for some paint and a slab of plastic to stand on his hilariously ridiculous.

Looks like they didn't fix my only major issue with Primal: his stability. Such a shame, since mine was a wobbly, floppy mess throughout the torso. I hope they refine this for mass production, but this product seems done and set. I don't know that I can justify those flaws for $60 rather than $30

This looks pretty cool, but I do have to wonder how big the market actually is for this. Like, it's a character that had about two or three minutes of screentime and didn't even have an on screen transformation that I recall. Granted I'd never even heard of Apelinq until ROTB so I'm already way out of the audience lol

So we’re getting this guy before Mirage?

given that they showed mirage months and months ago (I was starting to wonder why that was taking so long), this is annoying. Maybe even concerning (probably not).

hopefully they’ll come out together in a wave like previous releases have.

Maybe he'll look different in hand, but I'd personally prefer a version with less paint apps. I feel like they went over the top with the weathering in order to justify the price point, and now he looks less like 'a grizzled warrior' and more like 'has been dragged through a scrapyard all day, every day, for a decade'.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the reason why he's wobbly is because he's produced as a model kit in mind, and therefore has the same characteristics of model kits. Most of the model kits parts I believe are made of PS, and they have a couple few other parts made of ABS or PVC, but mostly PS. That's why they shared the same wobbly characteristic.
They're just very much doing the work of assembly 95% of the kit and left you with 5% of connecting every part into each other, so you may have thought it's an action figure with stability issue, but it's not, rather that's how model kit behave, even the most solid model kit out there still have this kind of trait.
From my point of view, as a model kit, it's solid enough for playability. Much better than some of the other kits I had in the past. It's not floppy, because the joints are tight on the right level. I don't have much issue with taking pictures of their stuff previously.

Bumblebee and rhinox immediately come to mind as being perfectly solid and stable. It’s a QC control issue where the waist joints are not tight enough, plain and simple.

It sounds like you just got bad luck with your copy of Primal. Mine was just perfectly fine, the same as my Cheetor. It happened on every product though, even the pricy one. The way you describe makes it feels like it's a design flaw tied into the actual product.

That's...literally what QC is? Quality Control? I never once said anything besides exactly that. "bad luck" is an issue of quality control, and Apelinq looks just as floppy in the exact same spots from the video, so I'm hoping the same issue doesn't persist. There's nothing complex to read into here. Your first argument was "no, he's meant to be floppy", and now you've switched it to "well, it was just your copy" after I debunked your first statement. Very bizarre.

At first, I thought you were talking about the wobbly trait of model kit, which is what these AMKs of Yolo have, because if you shake model kits, they do wobbly a lot, and the torso is definitely the one more noticeable. While they look wobbly when you shake and move them around, they do not fall apart, this is different from being loose and floppy. I did specify that the trait is wobbly, not loose nor floppy.
But then you specifically mentioned that your copy has waist joint extra loose, that's bad luck QC, because not everyone have it?
It's two different things I'm talking about here, the wobbly trait of model kits and the QC you have in the waist are two different things.

There are probably a few, like the hands or feet, but it seems to be mostly new parts, so the height being a bit different probably wasn’t too hard.
