True but given how bad the last thread went I felt it was needed.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was ignored. Threads of this nature rarely end well.

It's sad if people feel the need to bash others for what they are into. They just come across as pathetic bullies.

That being said, I'm glad it's out there. There is an audience for that, I haven't read the comics, but I have been watch MLP with my 4 year old son who is really into it. I may check it out to see what it's all about.

I like it. The pairing makes more sense than Prime and Pinkie or Starscream and Rainbow Dash.

    Threads of what nature?

    NEWS threads?

If we avoided posting news that caused immature people to throw shitfits, we wouldn't do any movie reporting at all.

Normally I wouldn't say this, and I've already smacked myself for doing this, but I think Tirek would fit better.

Because MLP is IDW's most popular and fastest selling series, with more numbers sold than Transformer's current series?

Mwahahaha. IDW knows good shit when they see it! :D

Fuck I need this cover. I love me some Nightmare Moon.

The Megatron art isn't bad but there's something off about him, especially his face. I think if IDW did these as a tag team with one of their Transformer artists and MLP artists collaborating they would knock it out of the park.

I can't even figure out what pose the horse is in. Is its elbows on the fusion cannon? What's with those hooves or are they covered with something. Legs look like they connect too low on the body from where a normal horse legs connect. As you can tell, I have no idea who this MLP character is.

I was thinking the same thing; maybe either his eyes are too small - but then again he might be squinting at the light source - or his cheek 'bone' lines are a bit low down his face. Overall though Megatron reminds me somewhat of the illustrations that Takara's provided with prose pieces, like that of the Cloud line. Otherwise as far as crossovers go - at least for cover art, I'm fine with this, it's successful enough in a certain visual style.

It's the eyes, mostly. Those just look very small and off.

Other than that, this is actually a really nice image, in my opinion. :)
