Hmmmmm. It looks like you could turn the Sky Reign waist into some kind of weapons turret for Jarugar. Neat.

 

Interested to see how this goes! Liking the f-14 wings on that mold.

 

I already like this one more than most of the others. All the 3d printed parts people like to use, while cool, still feels like cheating.

 

If by cheating you mean not having to chop up figures and damage them permanently, then I'm happy to keep cheating. Lol
Seriously though, for as many people that have done a custom Liokaiser, the approach depends on the customizer's priorities. Until Hasbro or an actual company puts out a real 6 bot configuration version, there's no better or worse way for customizers to go to meet their individual preferences on this combiner. He's a logistic nightmare every time.

 

Jallguar looks interesting. How were those wings made on leostarscream?

You could just leave it armless in those colors and say it is Big Rescue Force

 

I think 3d is cool. It is also cool that this is done the old school way that requires a lot of precision in physically putting it together out of things you salvage/repurpose!

 

A dremel to make both surfaces flat, ill be keeping them together with screws and plastic cement, currently just held on with a piece of gunpla sprue

 

Looks great OP! Can't wait to see it further on. If you don't mind, why did you choose Starscream rather than an Aerialbot and keep them all around the same height?

 

I got a free starscream with a uw menasor a few months ago
And it would mess up the aerialbots proportions to add cw ports, unless i built a ‘frame’ that was seperate or somehow part of jalugar

Due to the nature of the Skylynx legs you could have the tanks sideways and still have functioning knee joints

Looking good, I ended up using a shapeways head and chest on my Leozack if it is those elements you aren’t quite happy with

Working on leozack more, reinforcing legs and filling some gaps


here’s the combined mode so far, thinking of maybe having some pegs on the legs peg into leozacks chest/eventual arms


Man my desk is a mess with this

 

I like it so far, but I think the arms might be a little to high up. Obviously the issue would be coming from using a voyager for Leozack, but I think there are definitely ways that you can make that work. I think that if the arms and fuselage were lower in Liokaiser mode, it overall would look a bit better proportioned. I hope none of this comes off as rude since a lot of the kitbashing involved is very impressive.

Got a full time job and as such lost time to work on this, also hit a ‘bump’ and need some inspiration for the torso i might restart it all I’m not sure.
Either way it’s all in a box for now
