Its been a long time since I've done any work, so I thought I'd start with this AOE Grimlock. Other than the weapon tail thing, its a nice figure. When I went to start I found my compressor is finished so I ended up hand painting him. I tried to do a little closer to the movie as well as adding some gold details as a nod to g1 grimlock. His tail was cut and then attached to a styrene rod and covered with putty to give it a "bone" look (although I might go back and redo it with another idea I have). The shield was a part of one of my kids broke toys, a dinosaur rider, how appropriate. He was dissambled and the primed flat black and painted with flat aluminum met graphite flat gray and gold. Can't wait to get my new compressor and get ahold of leader class optimus and grimlock, I've already got some ideas in the works.
PS. Sorry about the bad photos

Thank you. Its been a while since I've hand painted an entire figure. Usually just hand paint details.
