Whitened a minispy the other day as a test in just 3%, as well as some grey seacon parts that had sunburns on the top. As soon as I can get to the store to get some lighter fluid (may as well try sticker removal as well), I am going to try it out on the grey and teal on Nautilator as well as a missile for Doubledealer in the next few days. I will eventually get a stronger peroxide and test out the gel method, but right now I am going to test on this figure in a straight 3% peroxide soak. I'll update results.

Updates about whitening a figure? I had a G1 Jetfire that was whitened and looked really good, but after a couple years the yellowing had returned. It was largely kept out of all light and had zero exposure to sunlight or florescent light.

Peroxide doesn't work, if that's what you're asking.

Don’t ever do this to your figures. I experimented years ago with some transformer figures, and GI joe. Not only will the yellowing return within a year or two without any sun exposure. But, it will be way worse. Trust me.

The problem here is off-gassing. I made the mistake of storing some non-TF figures in new containers, and it harmed the integrity of the plastics.

Thinking about doing this with my old g1 jetfire. A couple questions. Does anyone have a step-by step guide? How will if effect the paint? Does anyone know where I can get a good set of reproduction stickers?

Hmmmm...so I just today got some Angelus sole bright that I will be using on some Jordan XIs. I'm thinking of doing a test spot on some old junker bots that have yellowed. I'll be sure to post updates if I do!

I have a yellowed Japanese Tigatron. What are the chances doing this would ruin him worse?
