Ok I work at a Pest Control company doing calls to promote a new division that does lawn care (fertilization and weed control) Well there are three other callers. There is me, two middle age (40sish) women and a 20 year old girl. Well one of the women has a nasty additude. On Mondays I turn on Deal Or No Deal so i can see that. One Tuesdays we turn it to American Idol so the other lady can see that. I leave it off Wed. and thur most of the time. Well apparently this pisses off the lady with a nasty additude. Well i never complain when she turns the radio to country music. not a peep. she get's to listen to it for and hour and a half. My show is only an hour. Anyway at break i turn the TV on to watch for 15 min. well the 20 year old girl asks if American Idol is on. So i turn it to that. Well Cheryl (additude lady) get's kinda pissy about the TV being on. I tell her the other girl wanted to see AI so i turned it for her. Well a bit later Cheryl apologizes but says she is frustrated a bit because apparently i talk a little too loud and it annoys her all the time. She claims she dropped hints. Uh hello I'm a guy. Subtle hints do not work on us. I told her if she wants to listen to the radio just ask. If the TV is too loud just say so. Be straight forward and say it is too loud or I am talking too loud. Ladies guys don't understand or get subtle hints. Leaving a catalog opened to an item you want does not register with us. We just think you forgot to put it away. You want some thing just say so!! Geeze..
This isn't a matter of 'womanly subtleties.' It's a matter of being a passive-aggressive bitter waste of food whose only joy in life is stabbing the people she works with with tiny knives of annoyance because she's too much of a coward to come right out and say she hates the world. Or maybe I'm just bitter.
yeah bitter. Well glad she is quitting next week. Thank god. I'll still be on for atleast one more week. Funny thing is It was originally only going to be about 2 weeks of work and i just finished my 4th or 5th week.
yeah.. we can have it on as long as we still do our job. Doug, the boss, doesn't care one bit. In fact one night he watched Deal or No Deal for almost the entire hour. He would go do something for maybe 5 minutes every now and then but he watched at least 35-40 minutes of the show
