I remember how Tessa said in the final about their home: "it was blasted" and I thought that Cade and Tessa have much more common with Autobots than Sam and Mikaela/Carly. Until Cade met Autobots he can't find his own place in the world and even can't defend his own home. It's like Autobots - they was defeated in the war on Cybertron because they hadn't any truly BIG goals in life. But as soon as they met people (Cade met Autobots) they've found sense of life, belief in life and strength to fight. But in this battle they both sacrifice their first home and gave themselves to the hands of fate. Maybe due to this parallel Cade and Tessa will better understand Autobots and protect them from people?
