at 7:37 this morning, my youngest sister and her husband have just had their first child. a baby boy! 5 lbs 11oz, 19 and a half inches. looks like his mother when she was born. i'm happy for my sister and brother-in-law. the only negative is that i fear he might get spoiled by the entire family. ...oh well. UPDATE here's my nephew. good news about his ears, as it turns out, when they were taking test on his hearing, his left ear got 29 points out of 30. and his right ear got 17 out of 30. which he could use a hearing aid as he gets older. and if he wants to.
It's a great experience... I've thoroughly enjoyed the excitement my niece and nephew show when they see me (about 3 times a year, sadly).
thanks guys, i have upsetting news. my nephew's ears are deformed and kinda a bit swollen. doctor says that he could be deaf unless examinations can show that he has a functional ear canal. if he does then a small surgery will be needed and with a hearing aid he could be a happy child.
i am a youngin at heart, but im 28. i got 2 sisters, the younger sister is 27 who yesterday had her gallbladder removed. and the youngest sister is 18 who had the baby boy this morning. ill try to see if i can get one of the pics of the baby my younger sister took.
