on the flipside of that, if there were shoulder breakages we would definitely be hearing about it since there has been comments about it since the first in hand images were posted. yes, I do think they could have went another way so it wasn't as visually off-putting but as yet everything seems alright.

I would say that Fuzz is one of the less impressive figures I’ve gotten recently, but it’s still an ok bot. It just seems awfully fiddly with the limbs a bit floppy and the look is ok. I am putting off transforming him until I’m ready to combine in to Defensor. In the end, that’s all that matters to me, how will he look combined.

As he stands today he’s a 5 out of 10.

My thoughts are pretty much the same. Just get me to the end so that I can have the combined mode. GT Sarge (and the rest of the team) are good enough for bot mode for me, at least on the increasingly cramped first responders shelf.

@Ichibaru hadn't realized until it caught my eye in your pics that I had been transforming GT Sarge's legs wrong. I was just sliding the car sidepanels back where they were after transforming the legs, keeping the tires on the backside of the ankle. I guess I wasn't looking at things right, lol.

lol... I was looking at Fuzz and his wheel's facing towards the back and then looked at Sarge and thought maybe I had it wrong, but didn't bother checking.

Call me boring, but I think I prefer Sarge's "normal" or " heroic" proportions to Fuzz's gorilla frame.

Welp. This is a set I won’t be completing. I do not like the feel of his shoulder joint and all around jankiness of him.

Why most of you people only care about the combine mode? Sincere question.

Because that’s how I’ll display the set in the end.

Because the bot mode for Fuzz is kind of garbage and I don't display my Transformers in alt mode... so combine mode is the only option for me. I'm honestly not really digging their Groove either. Kind of having a mid-collection crisis. Might just sell my Fuzz and not continue with this set.

Can only speak for myself, but I care about combined mode above all else because... well... it's a combiner. A good gestalt mode is the whole bloody point! To be honest, I tend to find that the actual teams are usually pretty forgettable (unless they're awesome monster/beast bots like the Predacons/Terrorcons/Seacons) and even if I love the individual characters, I have neither the space or cash to invest in multiple sets, so combined mode takes priority.

Bit of nostalgia for me. Collecting the component bots back in the 80's to complete the combination was just a fun goal.

That's how they ended up in my display then, and it's still true to this day.

In my case, XTB's is the clear combined mode winner at least in aesthetic. While MMC's looks good as well, it's more of a niche OX based design rather than the G1 cartoon design.

Not to mention that XTB's bots so far, while looking on par, seem to somewhat fall on their face in terms of QC and hardware. I mean, look at what happened a page or 2 back with someone's waist being sheared off of a shitton of it's paint, for one.

It's like this is a team that forms a combiner.

Yeah but sometimes the individual bots are very good, but people still see them only as part of the Gestalt.

And since XTB combiners are really action masters, how do you people feel about a non transformable 50 cm combiner figure?

Some people prefer the Combiner to the team, like Devastator. Plus they want a big combiner.
    Well,

    Numbers speak for themselves.
Partsforming combiners are here to stay.

Ok, but how about an action figure like Bruticus for example?

I was originally going for only the FT Stunticons, but since they looked so good in bot mode, XTB is now my Menasor.

With the Protectobots, the GT combined is going to be too small, they’ll be the bots and again XTB will be Defensor.

Also as a collector of both ThreeZero DLX and Flame Toys 3K figs, I’d take a non-transforming combiner… but we might be getting into statue price territory at that point. Would love to get some of those Azure Sea statues!

I'm sure plenty of people would be fine with getting an action figure like Bruticus.
But in terms of MP collecting, Bruticus isn't like Menasor.

The only company that's tried a Menasor with another Combiner is New Age with their Devastator. And comparing it to Magic Square's Devastator, it has caused more than a bit of outrage.
