I dunno the free shipping option from Show Z for me has only taken around 15 days during the pandemic. It may be different to Canada because it’s not by boat and I think that’s the option for the States.

 

dunno what you’re into, but TFC has FT Seaspray available as well as all kinds of IDW stuff from MMC (especially the DJD), some MMC Combaticons, KFC has a metallic Blaster, and XTB has some Stunticon stuff like MM and the trailer and whatnot.

ok my first question would be: is streetwise delivered in carmode or botmode? Transformation looks complicated.

The figure looks good, um, very long and strong arms ... like a gorilla. Carbotsize looks better than XTB Stunticons. Does anyone know when MMC will bring its Streetwise?

 

It looks good but that transformation is gonna lead to a lot of breakages I think. Did anyone else notice what looks like scratches on the underside of the car mode after he rolls it about?

It comes in bot mode from what was said in the video, which is unusual for x-transbots stuff as it usually comes in car mode, Locke was the first from x-transbots I ever got that came in bot mode(and we all know how well that went by now), no idea about the MMC one hope something happens with them soon

 

I think that was crap/debris picked up from the surface he was filming on.

I really hope it comes in alt mode and he was just sent a test sample that hadn't yet been transformed for packaging.

Over all, that was mostly on point from what I've come to expect from a BSF review. One thing I don't like are the way the wrists tab to the forearm. That is very similar to how Locke's wrists were and we all know how terrible that turned out.

 

I hope it was just from the surface, would be really bad he just skipped over paint scratching.
Alt mode is the better choice since it means a smaller box so it works out cheaper on their end for shipping. I still don't get why Locke was shipped as a bot?

 

I predict a lot of breakages on those tiny shoulder balljoints...

 

Sadly I couldn't find much of anything I really wanted except for Crash Hog and MP+ Streak but I didn't want to spend that much just to get free shipping, so I ditched that idea. On the bright side it looks like they will hold your stash for 180 days so as long as Thundercracker comes in on time I can ship them both together in September or October. So i'll just wait until then or until another PO I get from there comes up. Fortunately the wait also gives me a cushion just in case any horror stories start emerging about Fuzz, then I can just cancel it.

Wow, what an over-complicated, over-engineered dumpster fire. There's no way I'd ever buy a figure like that. It's a mess of tiny, fragile parts. What the fuck were they thinking?!

 

On his Patreon he shows the unboxing, Fuzz comes in bot mode.

 

I dislike that very much. So I guess this is XTB's philosophy moving forward, "Transformation too complicated? We'll save you the trouble of having to transform it from alt to bot mode out of the box!"

 

Looks good. Not a piss-easy transformation, but toon accurate representation needs this finicky stuff to get part A to place B etc. so until they create true mass shifting, I'm okay with it.

 

Maybe? They've definitely shipped things in bot mode in the past without it being a rough transformation. Their Blaster and Junkions spring to mind.

 

I’ve already decided I’m going with MMC for the Protectobots, for various reasons.

But I really like what I’m seeing from XTB so far, and Groove looks even better. Transformation looks involved, but not near as terrible as those who were already going to hate on it are suggesting.

Also nice to see some of the same predictable comments already claiming this is a failure.

Well, the good news to me is, XTB seems to be back to the track now and putting out high quality stuffs once again.
Don't think I will get this set but now I can look forward to their Galvatron, springer and 'newer' kup.
Just ordered their Octane btw.
