These dates are a best guess. Some say Late September while another retailer will say 3rd Quarter so it is tough to judge exactly which, but should give a relative idea of where things are at. Don't know what to say about the KFC PowerMaster Prime which is still listed as coming out soon, but we've only seen grey prototypes so far. If you want to suggest a better date then point me to a source and I'll take a look.

The real vague aspirations:
Overload is supposed to come out after God Ginrai/Powermaster Prime. No thread ever created.
Broadside triple changer. No thread ever created.

Only Human G1 cartoon episode has already resulted in mini-figures of Ultra Magnus and Springer. Will Rodimus Prime and Arcee be far behind?
The "Fem-Bots" were rumored at one point. Presumably the all female squad from The Search for Alpha Trion G1 cartoon. Elita-1 prototype was shown back in 2018.

This is a great list, many thanks for taking the time to put it together.
As you say, the sheer number of advertised future releases is hard to keep track of, and this makes it much easier (although if they actually keep to their own timetable I will be impressed given how packed it is).

 

And people axt like FT has a massive backlog...

Yes, and it seems like some stores still haven't gotten all the same Stunticons as others. I don't want to get too deep into those guys as I could be tracking the BBTS pre-order watch for several months to come! There was KFC Blaster, the recent Stratotanker/Octane, the Opticlones, and a few others if I remember correctly. It could be a nightmare trying to go back in this list similar to the very comprehensive one that Roxxor keeps track of for the FT releases. With at least 3 dozen new XTB/KFC items in the horizon I had to draw a line and if it was out, then it was off my radar. Really, stretching my 1 hour lunch to 90 minutes was the line.

 

And I just spotted my first mistake. When copying over the KFC cassettes it looks like the spreadsheet copied over the $119.99 Junkion price for those as well. Not even BBTS or TFSource would have that kind of mark-up!

Both are actually a deal at $34.99 making them a bit cheaper than the China-based sites. Well, until you start counting pre-order discounts and 3% off deals.

 

Oh poop, I go out of town on a business trip for 2 days and XTB drops 4 new figures and hints on Virtus/Springer coming soon. Will need to get this better organized and update the first post over the weekend.

At least this brings us up to an even 40 figures on the horizon. Hmm, that's more figures on pre-order than some competitors have ever even produced.

 

I guess and hope that we will see Hot Spots/Van Guard in Q1/2022. September 2021 was way too early.

It’d be interesting to see the real release day compared to the announced dates, and get the average of how far they miss by.

 

Tried to fix up the top post today. Added a bunch of the XTB Mini-bots which was fairly easy to find links. And also the KFC Cassettes which are all over the place and so old it's tough to find links to the main TFW2005 threads. If anyone wants to make some suggestions I'd be happy to listen. There are so many damn cassettes I can't even figure out who half of them are supposed to be. 2013 and 2014 were certainly wild times when many of these came out.

Was really just trying to get the Grapple/Hauler/Artfire/Inferno figures added to the list as well as the new Snapdragon/Apeface off-white KFC toys coming out next year. Because what TXB and KFC really needed were another 6 figures on the release schedule. Suppose that means about 3 figures a month through the end of 2022 if all the estimated release dates hold true.

 

Added a half dozen new Mini-Master repaints (MM-6, MM-7, MM-10 versions) that are coming out 3rd Quarter 2022.

 

they really do have a lot lined up...but it only takes one snag somewhere and the rest of the dates will be shifted/adjusted. i'm guessing they'll have a 25% hit rate on meeting those specific release timeframes. wow locke 2.0 got pushed to 2022. thought they were supposed to have that fixed in july originally? if they'd only taken the time to get it right the first time fans would not have had to wait almost a year (wasn't it released originally in EARLY 2021?) longer.

i'm excited for the battlechargers, omnibots, P/CP, perceptor, maybe toecutter and a few more. i am not counting they will hit the dates though.

 

Based on one @Grifter Prime comment a few weeks ago it seemed like Locke 2.0 wouldn't be ready until after Christmas. Of course I can't find that comment since he was likely responding to someone in one of the many other non-Locke threads. Virtus seemed like still this year and Janssen possibly slipping into January. But here in the past couple of days it seems like a couple retailers are gearing up to send out replacement Locke figures. Not sure if this means retailers will have everything to start shipping in the next week or two, but it seems like they'll be shipping long before 2022. You may well of spotted one of many errors in this schedule. With 50 announced releases being tracked on Post #1 plus a couple recent POs like Paean and a Stunticon re-issue not on the list yet, it's bound that something will slip back in the release order. Dang, they'd have to hit 4 figures a month in 2022 to meet all the current release dates that retailers have been advertising.

My Fuzz figure seemed well built so let's hope Locke 1.0 is the last of his kind. They should have assembly of all those Junkions down to a science at this point and Virtus has been under so much scrutiny it seems unlikely that another stinker could slip through on those two.

 

I'm a little worried that the plan is too ambitious and either the timeline or product will suffer (I'll take delays over QC problems, naturally). All the same, a good half of their 2022 output is redecos of proven molds, so I'm not too worried about them. Unless the new color paint doesn't stick or something, I'm not worried about their ability to put out 6 new Hub-Jumpers.

But I have to say, XTB sure has an exciting lineup. Diaclone and G2 redos of current molds, loads of 1987 dudes no one else is touching, and the Omnibots!

 

yea, they are definitely hitting markets that no one else cares to try.
