Fair points. I suppose I'm anticipating some unsettling costs for these things, so some additional bells and whistles would be nice. Otherwise I'll end up paying some unpleasant figure for the world's most brutal Kinder eggs because I'm kinda compelled to at this point to finish up the collection.

Personally, I don't really need or want any of the gimmicks.. Most of the time they are never used anyway...I would rather trade away the gimmicks for a reasonably priced quality figure.. One that looks like he is riding a plume of energon.

Well, the prototype for sure has a simple beam/stand. It's fine as long as it's stable. They could offer alternative stands for different heights and a little bit of posing. Also, a good amount of alternative tentacles for different poses (because wired or rubber tentacles could be problematic).

Unless you expose the magnets to high temperature or strong magnetic field they won't lose their magnetic charge. And dropping the magnets causing them to lose charge is very unlikely these days with the materials used for the magnets.

Yeah I wasn’t particularly scared of them but for years I couldn’t really understand the difference between guilty and innocent!! Actually, maybe that’s a new defence for collecting 3P and KO?
“I didn’t know any better Your Honour. Ever since watching Hasbro’s own TF movie as a young child, my understanding of guilt and innocence has been warped.”
Lol. Hasbro brought the whole KO problem on themselves by telling a generation of young kids that they’d get punished either way!!

I don't really care how they do it, I just hope that they have a nice-looking energy beam that attaches well and allows them to be posed without tumbling over.

    For comparison:
    Welp, hastak strikes back?.
Not feeling it personally, the shell-top hat and sophomoric paint job put it well below my shelf standards. E8F921E6-53CF-4574-8FCB-2DBFD51E2E34.jpeg 5E530834-625C-4569-99C7-8F47728C4E4B.jpeg 7A722CFC-5606-4CF4-957D-3133A611F3C2.jpeg

The Quint from Hasbro shown on the show floor is HORRIBLE!!! So much different from the photoshopped promo pics they've put up for promotional. Looking forward to when XTransbots comes out with their version.

Yeah, the initial Hasbro renders or whatever looked pretty great but the actual paint looks rough.

I really hope Dr. Egg has some quality paint work. I’m waiting to see colour before I order it. It seemed like it was pretty early in the release schedule for XTB so hopefully we get some pics soon

Photoshopped promo pics? Are you referring to the renders?

I do not get why people need to compare Voyager sized Quintesson judge with MP scaled.

I will get both, because it is nice Hasbro finally got balls to create them. They will fit perfectly with Haslab Unicron.

Just to clarify, ER Quintesson Judge is Voyager Class, not necessarily size/scale. It's now a pricepoint.

Planning on buying three Hasbro Judges and two XTB Judges. The market is still here, XTB. No excuse not to proceed as planned.

If the magnets are set so that their poles are reversed, yes, that can happen. If the poles are properly aligned, then the magnetism will increase over time.

Agreed. That's a key reason I stay away from Hasbro. Just give me a solid figure, please.

Not planning on doubling up, but definitely getting one of each including the Cyberverse version. Get some variety in the judges.

And maybe I am dumb to how these "hovering" gimmicks work but i have to imagine it's one magnet repelling another. Or, four magnet working in tandem.

So you either get a figure that eventually fails or a figure suspended between the ends of some platform waiting for someone to knock it out of balance.

Nope, no, no hovering gimmick for me. Just a translucent "energy" beam to set it upon. Again, like every media depiction.
