The problem with these statues that come up with their own designs of classic characters is it's hard to justify the high price on what is ostensibly a "generic" version of the character. Unlike the movie characters or even the realistic-style Beast Wars guys, there's no saying which specific G1-style Optimus this represents.
Very much look forward to seeing the full designs in all their glory, I love the ones I've seen from XM so far.
Those are some pretty cool designs, but... why no proper paint-job? Are they that worried people won't buy the bigger scale versions? Had they made these fully colored I might have went for them, but I'm no fan of "black and white" figures, especially not at the likely big price these will be.
