I would be interested in getting one of these. Care less if it transformed or not. I think it would be nice to have it displayed.
On one hand, that's a great design and build, but on the other hand, the little lego purist gremlin in me is screaming, "BOO cHInA BOOtLeg nNoTT legO BAd"
Making him in truck mode look difficult for kid that age to make by them self
Parts look similar to Technic rather than regular Lego bricks. Could be interesting using that type of construction. Might be a bit advanced for the young kid pictured with it though.
That was the huge problem with Kreo Transformers sets, they expected kids to rebuild to "transform" them. No child wants to interrupt action play time to spend an hour rebuilding the toy they are.playing with. Partsforming would have been OK, but not a complete teardown and reassembly.
This may not even have a truck build as there are no truck pictures on the box.
That looks epic so I'm probably gonna buy it, though I'd have like that he was about the same size as the brick-built Megatron so he would roughly scale with the brick-built ones, since the Optimus is small and not so good-looking imo... At least it seems to scale in alt mode with 1:17 LEGO cars and a Technic truck I have, which can make pretty interesting
Awesome. Want. And probably coolest version of prime we’ll get from the cyberverse/evergreen designs.
What about......Action Dolls!
In all seriousness, it's a brand now meant for all, not just forty-something-year-olds living in their mother's basements gawking at pictures of Arcee.
I'm intrigued by how close they got the set, though...
I want this so bad!
why can\'t it be sold on BBTS! Why only Nezha a that sucks! I heard their shipping sucks
Cool! Does this figure transform? Or is it like KREO and you need to disassemble and then reassemble into a truck?
Man, just imagine if LEGO got the rights to make building block transformers now that KREO is basically kaput. I would love to see that honestly.
I have no idea what you're talking about. Lego can and does use knee joints where appropriate, but it depends on the age bracket they're aiming for, and whether it's a 'technic' or 'system' set.
This thing is pretty much all stolen technic pieces, I'd be really shocked if it didn't have knee joints...
Interestingly there was a poll published on Brickset this week that placed 'Transformers' third on the list of most-wanted Lego licenses...
Results: What licensed theme should LEGO produce next?
Extremely unlikely to happen at the moment, but things change over time - Sega and Nintendo used to be fierce rivals, now there's 'Mario and Sonic at the Olympics'. With enough time and changes to business models...
Also isnt this a truck mode?
Ironic that they use a Caucasian kid in the ad, when supposedly these are mainlander exclusive figures...
You'll have to reconstruct it to do the truck version.
Now, where would one order this?
Oooh. I want this lego inspired Prime design in toy form where it could actually transform. Looks great either way.
Nezha: Transformers Xiaomi Optimus Prime Building Blocks
I'm still waiting on the taobao links.
Ouch...... that’s pricy....
