Spent an hour on hold with Xbox support for them to tell me my Xbox one’s hdmi port is broken and because it’s an original from release they won’t replace it themselves. I was planning on updating and going for one of the newer models anyway but my big concern is the save data on it, several years worth of Minecraft builds specifically. Should I just pay a third party to fix it or is there away I can transfer data even though it won’t turn on?

Your saves should be saved to a cloud interface and be there when you connect your account to the new console.

What he said. If you replace an Xbox or have your account on multiple consoles, the saves will be carried over.

Thanks, I’m not exactly tech savvy.
