You get in the preview program by receiving an invite from anyone currently in the preview program. Is anyone here in the preview program that could invite some of us?
Well, researching online, it gets mixed reviews. You are forced beta updates. Some good, some not so. It's also claimed to be a PITA to get out of it if you want to. That's why I was wanting info. I'm on the fence about asking for an invite. Updates are a pain as it is, but being forced to use some that may be broken....I dunno.
Yeah, too many updates and a potential bricking of the console were the reasons why I opted out after one week.... buuuuut I reregistered back in because of the backwards compatibility.
This may be asking a lot, but I'd like to try out the backwards compatibility as soon as possible. Could someone who is a preview member possibly send me an invitation? I am Gen Magnus on xbl.
I just got it.. So I don't know if I have any invites yet or not. It worked on Geometry wars.. I can say that much, though I couldn't get the old "Slides" thing to open up. When I hit home menu it did the windowed stuff.

Normally takes up to about two days to recieve the invite. And another day to be prompted with a system update after you register your console in the Preview app.
