One question really, what do y'all think is the likelihood that Microsoft makes at least some of its backwards compatible digital library play anywhere enabled, franchises like gears of war and halo mainly

They won't. The devs when making the previous games focused on Xbox only where the play anywhere games are made with both PC and Xbox in mind.

There has been multiple times where Microsoft claimed they won't put the regular halo campaign on PC.

That sucks, it'd be awesome if they could figure out a way to make their download library windows 10 compatible

I'm pretty sure the first party 360 stuff will be on PC eventually, there's no real technical barrier if its already been done on XB1 and IIRC Spencer already said that its something he'd like to do if they ever have the resources to spare.
