But Halo1/2, Ninja Gaiden Back, DOA Ultimate all ran fine on the 360. There's no need for an HD collection for those games.

Whoops you're right, Classic Xbox did run P3. Though I guess there was more experience for devs to port x86 to PowerPC as thats how many mac apps were developed in that day and age, but rarely were mac apps converted to x86. The emulation does exist, but support for it was cut (even by apple).

 

Some how I think it'd be more appropriate if Nintendo was K and Sony was J. The smooth old guy and the slick looking youngster.

They're building Skynet and ending the world before the end of the next console generation. Of course they're not worried.

 

I can't help but feel Microsoft is also leaving themselves out in the controls department. Sony has a touchpad. Nintendo has a touch screen. Microsoft has... rumbling trigger buttons? They're also the only control without gyro sensors now.

Well, the Game Boy Advance says hi as well   (third generation hand held, it's either that or the DS)

The only other company to have problems with their third console was Sega, and we all know how that worked out.

I was a late adopter of the Xbox 360, but if the fears are realised for the Xbox greatest hits (Xbox one was the first Xbox.) then I'm more likely to just get a WII-U and a PS4, at least that way I'll be able to watch Blueray even if the console goes tits up.

CoD I will say is pretty damn optimized. I could run that thing on a 360 or my old C2D laptop and it looked the same [high settings with smooth framerates on the laptop]

Did they get a publisher or something? I thought they weren't gonna make it.

 

They needed the funding. I'm pretty sure they were looking to sled publish. But yeah, an interview with IGN shows they're eager to get it on the X1.

 

Well I'm happy for them I guess. Their kickstarter wasn't going too well. Won't be getting it if it's X1 exclusive though.

 

Are they moving solely to Xbox One or gonna release it on the Xbox One too.
