so i was JUST on XBL playing a match of Countdown. when out of nowhere, i get meleed at full health. while i waited to spawn, i saw that my killer was someone using the Air raid chassis and guess what he was holding: a P.O.K.E. 2.0 dagger. he ran around with it for 2 minutes or so. even after being killed, he activated it without the game notifying every one else in the match. i also saw him carrying the bomb as Jetfire and right as I use my moleculon bomb ability, he does the same damn thing when no one else is near us. i filed a complaint to Xbox. hopefully they read it. *sigh* just venting. this REALLY pissed me off
Luckily for me I've yet to encounter any frustrating ones yet. And lucky for you Fall will be released in a few months so the cheaters will have to start from ground zero again.
Ugh, that guy. I'd recommend you picking up an EMP shotgun or Scrapmaker X12 when you get the chance, those weapons work wonders on him and other cheaters, especially when you're being a scout with suprise attack or mark target. And once he's up against a bunch of actually GOOD players, he's easy to take out and he rage quits.
And don't forget the energon sling! His Air Raid can not only use P.O.K.E for an unlimited time, but also has war cry too.
does the energon sling slow him or disable his P.O.K.E.? i've never used the energon sling but i'll have to add that to my abilities
Unfortunately not, but you can go leader and try using the vehicle jamming ability on him and it'll probably force him into vehicle mode thus removing his P.O.K.E.
Damn hackers/glitchers are everywhere. Apparently, High Moon is trying to fix the sort of glitches WFC had for FOC. So hopefully both Xbox and PS3 players will be safe from Glitches in the next game. We can just pray there aren't too many hackers. On a barely related note, I rarely use a Leader so I often forget their abilities. So when I get the five kill streak, I think I've got the mine deploying one because, to me at least, the POKE symbol looks like a Mine, somewhat. So thinking, I've got the mine one, I activate the POKE thing nowhere near anyone and end up running around looking for enemies, wasting the ability.
They DEFINITELY will have fixed the complained glitches, ability swap, killstreak swap, weapon swap, etc.
Just recently I was on the PS3 and a scout kept spawning with Scrapmaker and Rocket Launcher. -_- I was happy to be his only death.
Not exactly a cheat but I guess it would be annoying. But the Scatter Blaster has zero range. You have to stick it inside an enemies mouth before it has any effect.
Thankfully the number of cheaters is fairly small... I've gone against Red Mist several times. He's ALWAYS a chimera jet... has a tank weapon or scount guns in jet mode, has warcry and drain as well as reserve powercells. I'm guessing he also has flak armor too. I can't count how many times I've reported him, but eventually he gets temp banned from XBL. Also... on an unrelated note, just because someone is good, doesn't mean they're cheating. I've played against some of the players in the top 20 in conquest... and I swore they had to be cheating... until I played WITH them and they were very cool guys that were just DAMN good. I also realized that being in the top 100 myself, my gamer rep has PLUMMETED. I've been avoided so many times for being "overly aggressive". -_-
Its a variation of the ability swap glitch. He's swapped his chassis, I'm pretty sure if you look at the scoreboard where it shows the class icon next to each name, you will see the leader icon. If you think someone's chassis swapping, just look at the icon next to there name and see if that chassis matches the class it says he's using. If he is a jet yet has the leader icon, then approach him like you would a leader, since he is a leader just with a jet chassis.
