It's not a possibility, it WILL happen. :)

I help mod an Xbox forum and our main site news guys broke a story on this a while back, but it wasn't really "believed" by the mainstream, due to it being a relatively "new" site. All I can say is our news guys get some great news and info out there, if anyone is interested in checking them out.

    XboxFamily.com (old site)
    XboxFamily (new site)

Our top dog over there, has been dead on every single time (and even broke the news of the second Zune over on xbox.com, only to get banned from their forums for "leaking the news" before Microsoft could--if only they'd warned him earlier). Anyway, he has been insisting (still rumor, I know) that this controller will be released for a port of Metal Gear Solid 4 that will come 12-14 months after the PS3 version is released. Only time will tell if it truly happens, but he hasn't failed us yet. :)  (It's all rumor for now, but it would be cool to see)

I agree with the donating of Microsoft Points--my fiancee would love to be able to shoot my points over to her account, since I haven't been using much lately.

I dislike the motion controls on the PS3. I will most likey dislike motion control on the 360.

Motion control is the reason I bought a Wii. I prefer my 360 and PS3 motion-control-less.

Game installs is an absolutely useless feature, unless you happen to own an Elite model or bought one those expensive ass 120GB hard drives.

So? Why deny us the option if we do have a 120gb Hard Drive? I don't think microsoft is one to force you to install games. Currently I can't view kotaku cause I'm at school, is there any way some one could post the list please?

I would explode if MGS 4 came to the 360. I would explode in the good way.

Other than shaking I think it got removed.

However, the game uses an entire Bluray, so how many DVD's is that?

    :lol

Now is that compressed or uncompressed data too Twin Twist you need to keep that in mind. They can do wonders with compression and still keep game quality great.

If you think they're gonna squeeze that down on to one DVD you're crazy mental.

Maybe not one but They could probably do it in two or three, four most likely max. For multiplayer they could put it on the last disc or on its own disc and the game on other ones. As for changing the disc. I believe the discs would be long enough that only trolls or PS3 fanboys would attack it and claim it inconvenient while most people don't mind.

So would the Disc it's mastered onto if it's true that it filled a BluRay Disc. Compression or not, it will either look like ass, or be compressed into a lot of discs, and switching discs on an RPG is ok, but on a game like MGS, no thanks. I'll be playing it in June, and wagging a controller around won't be enough reason for me to rebuy it.

    oh and this

whats bluray? 60 gig? dvd's 4.5 or 8 depending right. so my initial guess was off, you'llonly need 7.5 dvds.

It's certainly not just going to be the case of having to reduce the size of the textures like the difference between PS3/360 GTA IV.

true. and going by previous mgs's, there's no rendered cutscenes either so they won't be able to compress that shit either.

did they ever port mgs3 to xbox? i know they did with 2.

I dont think so, but MGS3 was on DVD also, so it wouldn't have been a bad transition. The only thing that affected MGS2 on Xbox was that the PS2 had better particle effect capabilities, so the Xbox chugged a bit when there were excessive particle effects in play, and MGS 2 had an assload of that.
