Sky Crusher isn't MP scale. Both FP and DT were going for MP.

I like skyfire but I'm not sure he is going to fit in my collection anywhere.

If he has a cool transformation, I might consider picking him up to fiddle with, but my lack of space is fast helping me decide that I don't need to get every cool bot out there..

I just now realized they have magnets in their feet, and looking at the whole package again I am getting a heavy Starcom vibe. Fun! I want one.

Personally, I think he's a fantastic looking CHUG Skyfire. I can forgive the side-arms in jet mode, you think Hasbro would have bothered hiding them? All I really need is a size comparison, I just need to know he's big enough for my ever embiggening collection (thanks MMC!).

Not to hate on this guy, but products like Sky Crusher just drive home to me how far 3P companies have come. If this was revealed back in 2010, when FansProject was king of the 3P "Chugsterpiece" scene, I would have been blown away by what I'm seeing. Now I sitting here with a Phoenix in my display case and I just can't be bothered.

It's crazy how good we collectors have it nowdays.

But he's not competing with Phoenix and dare I say if you own Phoenix, you're not even in the ballpark of the market they're looking for. Phoenix isn't CHUG, not in size or aesthetic. Sky Crusher here is both. That's the argument we keep having in this thread. The title should be changed to "X2 Toys CHUG Skyfire" so that, no offense, the swathes of MP people will stop coming in here and crapping all over it. It's not meant for you. It's clearly, CLEARLY meant to look like a Hasbro-designed CHUG Skyfire and I think it succeeds with that on every level.

The more I see of this, the more I like it. Hell, I was tempted even if they'd stuck to the Roadbuster prototype colours.. But he just hits that great CHUG vibe that buoys my collection. I never cared for the animated Skyfire back in the day, I liked Jetfire, in the toy and comic, but this is a sweet bit of nostalgia that scales to my bot shelf, and has fun Titanmasters to boot!

Decent mold lots of playability and only cost about 85 USD straight from HK. Looking forward for a black repaint!

You would think so but MP "people" would still drop in and crap all over it.

My collection is both CHUG and MP and there's no way I can use Phoenix. Too G1 looking (huge negative for me) but more importantly it's just too damn big. MP10 is my baseline, not some old shitty Sunbow sale chart, and Skyfire doesn't feel right, nor looks right, being almost twice as tall as Prime.

I use Toyworld Orion as my Prime and as of today... MMC Tyrantron is my Megatron. So Phoenix would be insanely too large for my collection. lol

I'm intrigued by the swappable face. Perhaps a replacement that better fits the helmet isn't too far off?

I'm an MP person and I want this for my MPs. Jetfires pretty high on the "I ain't spending $200 on one" totem.

    YES! Starcom! CLICK, Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

My favorite part of the Titans Return series was having pilots for the alt-modes. So anytime something can sit in the actual cockpit, I'm super interested.

Needs a Titan master with a bigger face, Blaster and Soundwave Titanmasters might look better than the stock one for this.
