I hear you. At this point, I only see myself really getting this for the sake of pitting someone against Star Saber. My choice being the IronTrans (haven't ordered it yet, but it's something i'll definitely get to), due to at least how I see it, MP-24 to me looks disproportionate and clunky, proportionately. To point out specific examples, his torso as it tapers down to the waist, still looks a bit too wide for me, and his legs from the knee down also suffer from looking a bit too wide. IT's in comparison fixes those issues and goes up from there with the whole gamut.

Deathsaurus though, IDW's incarnation will always be the first I think of, so D-Zef is my pick by default. Though if I had to pick one between the two, regardless of incarnation and whatnot, at gunpoint, it would still be him. Cause I do see a couple problems so far with XTB's, also with proportion. Mainly with now his arms and legs looking a bit wide, themselves. Though besides that, he looks fantastic, and will definitely overtake the Continuum version of D-Zef any day.

 

I like MP-24, I think the proportion issues you are talking about are there but they don't really bother me, the thing about it for me is MP-24 has the same anime influence as Irontrans, they just don't go all the way as Irontrans does. The issues are definitely there, but milage may vary. I may get the IronTrans one at some point as I think it looks cool, but I'm good with my TT. I also agree, the main selling point for this guy to me is to have someone to duel with Star Saber

Yea, haven't gotten to that part of MTMTE yet (On #12), I also think the Planet X Deathsuarus looks just as good and is out and is one of their best pieces. I am very intrested to see what this XTB Deathsaurus will look like cause if I don't like it, I'll just keep my Star Saber on his own and get an IDW Deathsaurs.

 

I was really hoping this was farther along at this point as it's been known about for what seems like a long time. Also I'm in the camp of I hope it's a little taller than Star Saber but obviously shorter than Victory Saber. While I want it to be mostly tune color accurate I'm very into the chroming of the Lion's wings. Guess all that's left is to hurry up and wait at this point.

 

Questions:
1. Any more info on the planned height? 15 inches tall more or less would be ideal to me. So he could face off with with Victory Saber (Star Saber combined with Victory Leo)... and since KFC/XTB already have Simba... Keith is aware of the sizing and scaling arguments.

2. Any more info as to if or when this will be released? Or is this just more pie in the sky KFC/XTB vaporware?

BUT, that was not in the MP line (so I don't see why companies would be scared of that), and since it was flawed, I wouldn't mind seeing one of the better "third party" manufacturers taking a stab at 'im.
