Caught red handed as a Keith Fantasy Circle Jerker LOL.
SO, HOW BOUT THAT VIRTUS..
Well, with that "specific" problem out of they way he should be one step closer to perfection.
like takara figures your a cultist , like fanstoys your a cultist , like xtb your a cultist .... you cannot win on this forum all the biggest mp players and all have problem figures
Except Fans Hobby, of course.
ALL PRAISE FANS HOBBY.
Reality is that Virtus was probably delayed partly because feedback on how it looked wasn't great and partly because of the debacle around Locke.
If Locke hadn't been a clusterf.. that people complained about then we may well have all paid for and received an equally awful Virtus. Considering that it seems fair to discuss both within the thread. To my mind they will always be intrinsically linked release wise.
Virtus is delayed bc ft cant figure out how to finish their combiner
I'm not a cultist, I'm a very naughty boy.
Still wrecking havoc all over the world...
I don't disagree, I just wish they did more bots I want.
Regards Locke, I want my v2 as bad as the next man. Mine was a mess, but it looked so much better than koot.
I'm not preordering Virtus, but if it's good I will end up going for it.
Didn't realize Locke had so many issues. If that's the case, it's probably best to delay it than to rush out another sub-par release and completely tank interest in whatever comes next. Of all the 3rd party Springers, Virtus was the one I was looking forward to most.
Locke was a clusterfuck, x-transbots quality control was nonexistent on that one and then they blamed everything and everyone but themselves for the problems. X-transbots mold designs look the best but their build execution leaves a lot to be desired.
As soon as I handled it out of the box I emailed showz and xtb regarding a reissue/fix (the target master disintegrated in my hand also). So yeah... And I'm not really a complainer either lol.
Did the plastic actually break, or just limbs falling apart but could be put back together? I don't mind parts that fall off and can be put back on but there's nothing you can do to work with horrible plastic quality that crumbles as you handle it.
Check out the Locke thread or even some YouTube reviews; it's safe to say it's a universally terrible release with numerous issues.
Terrible clearances, significant paint scratches, floppy joints and overly tight joints (the knees were almost frozen), sprue marks, warped pieces, poor instructions and that was just my copy alone.
Just felt flimsy and fragile. Like I was handling an airfix model instead of a transformer. I'm an xtb fanboy of sorts and even I was just like 'are they having a laugh'... Still waiting on this supposed fixed Locke
@xueyue2 Real quick, any word on Virtus from some Weibo replies a-la Kup & the Omnibots?
I treated mine nicely. When word comes what to do with it, im going to ham fist transform it.
Yeah, I saw something in XTB weibo today as well, right below the Omnibots comment.
