    It's from the episode in season 3 where he came across a strange alien artifact which turned out to be linked to the quintessons whose leader then reprogrammed him and sent him down to Earth to wipe out the autobots.

    I was hoping they would put this out sooner but the main rush has been on finishing at least the Stunticon limbs from everything we have seen. They just released Crosscut with Deathwish and Overheat next I suppose after CNY and then Taiho (Skids police deco). I would hope by then Neptune is out. I have had this on preorder at TCP since Toro/Coprimozzo. It would make sense to me this comes before Gravestone but I may be wrong. They have a prototype now of the combiner body and Gravestone as well as Locke and Virtus and then all of that new stuff announced. The only thing we haven't seen is a prototype for Abaddon.

    Or Dante....Or whatever Grapple was supposed to be called. Or Deathsaurus, Or Dreadwing and Darkwing or The battle chargers....Or the supposed repaints of Toro

    Generally they seem to have created a backlog the size of fans toys....

    Personally I consider Inferno/Grapple/Galvatron, and the Toro repaints to be dead projects, that might or not be revived at some point in the distant future.

    I really want to like this guy because XTB have released my favourite figures last year... but Neptune's crotch looks off. His underpants are too tight! :confused:

    I have the Fanstoys version of this character. Even though it's a different aesthetic and he's more athletic by design, it's a great figure. I'm sure this one will be too.

    The painted shot makes me hopeful, and XTB has been pretty good with their release dates...

    But I'll believe it when I see it. CNY is between now and then and it has a funny way of "moving" the release date.

    while the fans toys version is a fine figure, it doesnt look toon enough, this one should, so i will go for this one
