Don't "Boost" this one XTB. The silhouette of a possibly bad leg panel transformation has me nervous.

I bet this will look better than FT Seaspray - and break during the first transformation. Still angry about my XTB Minibot experience with Arkose...

I was actually interested in Octane, Artfire, Hauler, Inferno, Galvatron and Blitzwing? What happen? Cancelled?

Perfect silhouette, kinda chunky and stubby, much more precise

I'll be impressed when we see the prototype in 6 months and an actual retail product 18 months from now. I see it brought up all the time with FT but hardly ever hear it mentioned with XTB about how long it's taking to actually get the product to vendors. Boost took forever and still hasn't been released in the color scheme that was on the first render..you know the one with the character's proper coloring. XTB is the only company that I just have to wait and see on which is a real shame with some of their actual design work.

 

Too bad it's not their Brawn/Outback or Powerglide since they were already teased in vehicle mode.

 

Well, I’ve already pre-ordered Fanstoys version, and I’m not going to cancel based on a silhouette. The only thing that looks like it could be better is that it looks like it has smaller, more proportional feet. Definitely need more to go on at this point if they want to secure sales.

If they really wanted me to switch, they could bring it in at the same size as Badcube’s Wardog… I just feel that four of season 2’s mini-bots (Warpath, Powerglide, Cosmos and Seaspray) deserved bigger ‘bot modes, as their alt modes were hefty vehicles.

 

I have Spindrift on PO and this XTB one would have to be significantly better looking for me to consider giving up FT QC for XTB (lack of) QC

My last few XTB have been significantly better balanced figures than FTs. With no more significant QC issues.

 

Colors are off XTB.

 

I heard of plans for Cosmos and Seaspray from over a year ago. I am a little surprised because of the delay and after seeing FT version I thought they decided to shelve this. Springer I did't see coming but from the silhouettes it looks formidable. From what we have seen there must just be open warfare now between FT and everybody else.

I too am waiting on the formal reveals for Abaddon and Locke because those are farther along and we know they are working on Deathsaurus, Sixshot, and Rodimus Prime. There was some speculation for Powermaster Optimus Prime but nothing confirmed.

 

Why is world being flooded with Springers?!?

 

I won't even consider this until in hand review are out. I have zero faith XTB after being let down so many times in the past.

 

The 3P MP scaled Seaspray wars have begun. As with the other XTB minibots, it'll certainly look the part and include some accessories but man o' man that qc and tolerance will be a dice roll and not in the consumers favor. I'll spare myself the frustration I endured with Ollie, Arkose, Boost & Hatch and just go with the FansToys version. I'm glad we have options with this character.
