My copy showed up today, I love this guy! I may pick up XTB's Artfire too. Now to keep this or MMC's...

 

ok so is it advisable to replace that screw that holds that ladder housing? or are people getting them with shorter screws causing the issue?

And does anybody have a link to the exact screw you should be replacing it with?

 

If you sell MMCs Hauler on you'll get a lot for him as he's very rare. I was trying to get one for ages but the one or two that I actually saw ere way out of my price range.

As to Artfire, there's no such thing as too many  

 

Didn't realize the tiny bits on the crane extension came out-- something to watch for if it isn't been mentioned already. I went to vacuum and luckily have grey carpet, so it didn't get sucked up lol

 

I transformed my copy today. The transformation was a bit tricky, especially moving out that panel on the cab roof. I made a scratch on the platter... that's why I hate transforming XTB alt mode into robot mode... Thank God these crane parts have remained stable. I was a bit afraid of overstretching something.

Otherwise, Cavanaggio is a really massive figure, It towers over TT Grapple and Inferno. I like it bot-aesthetics, but I won't purchase XTB Inferno and Grapple.

 

Loving this big guy! I'm debating whether to get the XTB version or official MP of Artfire next just to add more variation to the MP collection.

 

The only thing I can see is the green seems to be a little darker and a little less neon than the Constructicons. But, that might just be the pics that I've seen, too.

 

No, you're not wrong. It is darker. but not disturbingly so.

I however have lost all sense of sanity. MP-37 Artfire, MMC Backdraft and Girder, have all been replaced with the X-Trans Fuso's. They may be 7 years late, but they are superior to all the versions that have come before. Now I need to sell my MMC's. lmao

I did the same. These guys look mighty fine in vehicle mode. And I'm a sucker for fire trucks and construction equipment.

 

TW Constructicons? It was never going to match with them being from different stables. XTB Constructicons on the other hand, I'd be very surprised if they weren't similar/same.

Mine arrives Friday with Aussie and Phantasm. Can't wait  

 

Absolutely stunning. Yet.

I absolutely detest those white armatures. Don't feel like they'll break but man, that was a ball ache folding them up.

Now. Cartoon Decepticon logo.

 

The white armature solution seems so odd to me. It's like - we're making a point of going much more real world accurate than the Takara options. Then they resort to an uncolored multipart folding thing that just sits on top of the truck in alt mode.

Figure still looks amazing though. I'm going to eventually display mine with the XTB Omnibots, as sort of a G1 cartoon-adjacent group.

 

I don't know why they made them with such a color and shape that makes them stand out so much. If they were more rectangular and/or colored the same as the main body of the truck they'd blend in pretty much just fine even if they were not 100% accurate to the vehicle.

I'm debating unscrewing them when I get mine and just parts-forming the head. I'll at least try it once to see how it feels.

Wait, I thought Hauler had evaded the Robosmasher and thus wouldn't have red eyes?


I've got no idea where Megatron would have smooshed on Hauler to the Devastator gestalt had he been there the day the rest of the Constructicons were converted to Decepticons. He would have ended up as a third arm or an extra leg? After Hauler and the Constructicons built Megatron...?

 

I've got no reasoning behind it other than he's a Constructicon and stood with them on my shelf.

 

So is this the first out of XTB's molds of this to be released? What's the verdict on the quality?
