Looks neat, and the interior is appreciated, but….. It doesn’t compete with the Takara one, which I never thought I’d say. But Takara has this obliterated with that ladder hanging off the back.

 

Now that I gave up and got MMC?  

 

XTB is on fire. But I will say again that I don't like their quality.

Tbh don't think xtb is even gonna release those, they tease those 3D renders just to fill the long waiting gap of Springer or the others.

 

Wonder if they plan on doing Hauler and Artfire too?

Not for me as I'm a fan of MP-33/35, but this is great news for those who've been pining for this since those original renders all those years ago.

I do think XTB need to consider including the Toei headsculpt as well as the Akom one though, like Takara did. Akom should never be the basis for anything  

 

I don't see the point of this when the mp exists. And that was when Takara mps were still good. Even assuming the engineering is incredible (which it probably isn't with the entire ladder just hanging off his back), you're still dealing with xtb qc.

 

I prefer the overall design of this one, MP Inferno was the start of the super-toon plain detailing.

Happy to add this as my 3rd type of MP Inferno. I like the realism and hope that both modes are taller/larger than the other offerings.

 

TT won this war a long time ago.

 

If it comes out as good as it looks its superior to the mp in every way. The fuso boys markes a low point in mp. Alt mode design, cheaping out on even tail lights because toon didn't have it. Infernos ladder storage was great but ive been stopping myself from selling it (because it would be at a loss) for years now. I much prefer mmc's design to the mp and its my main inferno even thiugh i concede its not perfect, its aesthetic is way superior IMO. some days i even prefer maketoys chunky anime aesthetic to the mp as well (dont own it tho). XTB mighy be too late to the party but it has a chanve to make the best inferno.

 

Looking at this again, the new rendera seem to suggest silver vs the original looks like it has chrome accents...that woild be a downgrade. Windshield etc better not be opaque...the new render doesnt seem to suggest translucent smoked look. Hopefully im interpretting the renders wrong.
