Thus far, the standard 'Toon versions, the G2 recolours, and the toy-style "Youth" editions. The Toon and G2 limbs have all been released, and Toon Gravestone here has obviously just been solicited. "Youth" Crackdown has just been released, with the other three solicited for pre-order IIRC. G2 and Youth Gravestone have not been solicited yet, although the fully combined prototype of the G2 Menasor was on display at the recent TFCon.

I dunno. Wildrider is arguably just as different as Dead End, he has a silver bonnet in alt mode and similar body detailing to Dead End and Breakdown, it looks nothing like the cartoon:

    250px-G1Wildrider_toy.jpg

I know you know what he looks like, I just think his toy and toon are as different as Dead End and more so than Breakdown.

Either way it's all semantics, I'm pleasantly surprised Dragstrip is next and I've just spoken to tfs-e who said they're expecting it in the UK next week so looks like I'm getting the first 2 'youths' at the same time! (alongside bee v2 :) )

I guess Dead End will be next and Wildrider bringing up the rear.

Yeah sometimes, it ends up being higher than anyone, like the $210 for Sovereign-M for people who pre-ordered. Probbaly wouldn't happen with a standard XTb release though. I guess I'll wait until they announce the toy version

Confirmed by 2 retailers that 'youth' Dragstrip is out next week. Maybe we'll get 'youth' Dead End by the end of the year as I'm pretty sure 'youth' Breakdown was released relatively recently.

??? Since when was shipping a normal-sized box from China $30 or more? If it's less than $100, it'll be like $110 including shipping.

I'm not one of those people who makes fun of people for not having money, but you guys are quibbling over nickel and dime shit. This figure costs as much as TE-01 and MS-01, is an equal sized vehicle, a bigger robot, with die-cast parts. It's appropriately priced. You guys are acting like it's MP-44 or something like that. Come the f___ on. It's obvious you're hating on XTB/KFC... you don't talk like this about other company's toys.

I'm not hating the price, it seems fairly reasonable, although it remains to be seen how much more for the rest of the combiner parts.

I thought for sure that link would take me to a photo of this chap. :)

I think he was just going for the joke that he's "Blade" and is "black".

I get that those dudes by his feet are likely supposed to be dead, but they look like they're really just taking a nap and Sir Albino McGothpants is the last one awake at the slumber party and needs to make a 7/11 run for a pack of Chocodiles or something and homie on the gold dragon in the back is all "Hurry up, bro."

It's late and I was watching a movie at the same time as replying... yes, I was very slow on that one, by the time I realised I'd completely missed the joke I couldn't be bothered editing my post :D

I think he's just remembered he left the oven on...

To me, it looks more like "Oh my god! I just realized how horribly my outfit clashes with the surrounds. I must go home and change into my reds and golds immediately. Oh my, what a faux pas!". :D

Fans Toys Roadking is a very nice looking piece, but I dread transforming it. It's simply a miserable process! Some don't care because they plan to just leave him in bot mode or in combined form. But for me, I'm a tinkerer. Sometimes I like to transform my TF's and I want to enjoy the process, not fight with it. I don't mind the back pack on it either. I rather like it. So he's really just a 'poser' in bot mode for me. No QC issues on mine.

XTB Gravestone seems to be exactly what I've been looking for in an MP-Style Motormaster. Yeah, yeah, the cartoon & toy transformed into Motormaster with his trailer and cab together, but that always bothered me. The G1 toon made him somehow puff out and grow in terms of the Menasor form from Motormaster. XTB's solution seems to make more sense to me where he combines with his trailer to form Menasor.. The design looks great! I love his truck and robot designs! They clearly put a lot more thought into it than both FT & DX9. FT's went overboard with the complexity of just making the semi turn into Motormaster, and DX9 went kind of weird with having about 1/8 of the cab splitting to form Motormaster. I do give credit to DX9 for making the transformation more interesting and far more satisfying compared to FT's attempt. I hope XTB's transformation will be even more so! XTB has a nice clean design all the way around and scales nicely with both MP-10 and 44. I'm really happy that I went with XTB and their reworking of Motormaster/Menasor seems to be well worth the delay. I hope the final product in hand will at least as good as it appears to be in photos.

In terms of rankings for me:

    1. XTB Gravestone
    2. DX9 Capone (?)
    3. FT Roadking

    Cars:
    1. XTB
    2. FT
    3. DX9
